Great camera that is easy to use. Takes awesome pictures and has a ton of features!

the picture taken with this camera is not as good I thought before I received the items. The product is just worth how much you paid.

The camera is ok (We hope). We purchased the camera online and went to pick it up at the local BB just to find out that they were sold out and the only thing they had was the floor model. They told us they had all of the pieces, then they couldn't find anything. We asked them to turn it on to verify it worked, but it "wasn't charged" but the salesperson shows us the "battery". Turns out there wasn't a battery in there but an adapter for in store display purposes...so we had to buy one of those too.

I just needed an affordable, easy to use camera for family stuff. Tis fits e bill.

Don't forget you need to buy an SD card with the camera!

I love this camera! It is easy to use, and doesn't have so many buttons I forget what they are for in-between uses. It has enough advanced features that you can do some more professional shots, but the auto focus pics are beautiful. The lens is pretty good at telephoto for such a small camera, but since the lens is so small, any little piece of dirt or fuzz causes large orbs on pictures. I have to clean off the lens regularly to avoid this. The recovery speed in between pics is a bit slow, but to have this small and convenient of a camera, that is the trade off. The square shape of the camera bothers some people, but I do fine with it--it seems to give my fingers a place to hook onto when I take a pic. The close ups with this camera are great.

I would recommend this camera because it is very small and easy to use plus the picture quality is super nice. The only thing I don't like is the battery life and that it takes a micro sd card.

Wow! What a great big mess. Do you need a special battery for that? Yes! but we can't get it. Do you need a cable for that? Yes! but we don't have it. It was like a car with no engine, transmission, tires...

Compared with my other Canon Elph this one is bad. So many things I don't like about it. The size is the only thing I like about it.

I just love the camera overall. It has many preset functions for many photographic situations that we face, including low light. The camera does a fantastic job with them. it takes a bit to learn how to get to the desired function. The worst aspect of the camera is its very short battery life. We got about 50 shots from the Cannon supplied battery. I purchased a 1200 MAH battery to replace the 875 MAH battery supplied by Cannon, and can now take a day's photographs without having to hit the charger.

This is my first camera and I love it. It captures action shots really well and can zoom like crazy. The macro mode is great and it has tons of features like the super slow motion movie mode. (240 frames per second) It also can do color swaps and the like which is useful if you don't know how to use photoshop. I searched for a whole month trying to find the best pocket camera. (point and shoot) this is the one. If you are looking at this review you have to buy this camera. I take a lot of sports pix and this is great. Also picks up great detail in the high sensitivity sensor, I wish I could write more but this review machine only lets you write so much. Great camera!

This was my first new camera purchase in quite awhile, my trusty Olympus P&S was stolen, so I had to replace it. This camera is "fine." That's the only way to describe it. I debated taking it back once I realized it can't shoot raw or tiff, but apparently most cameras around this price point can no longer save uncompressed files. I don't understand why functionality in this area is going backward, my 7+ y/o Olympus could save uncompressed files. Anyway, the picture quality of this camera is okay. Not stellar, won't blow you away, just okay. Fine for posting online, but I wouldn't necessarily print from these files. The low-light ability is pretty good, the sound on the video camera is better than I expected. The various shooting modes are kind of gimmicky, but auto produces low contrast, muddy kind of shots. The macro mode (why I was interested in this camera moreso than some others) is decent. Again, I kept this camera only because it's small enough to always have with me and it's better quality than my camera phone, but mostly I am unimpressed.

I picked up this camera today and brought it home. I liked the size and features. Tried taking some photographs of my dogs inside the living room and it was very noisy, I was extremely disappointed. I returned the camera and purchased another brand.

I wanted to find a camera that took great pictures without a lot of features. Just point and shoot. This camera fulfilled my requirements. I just aim zoom, click and get awesome pictures for the money it is great little camera.

I like the camera a lot. It's nice to have such a great zoom in such a small camera. I feel like every picture I take turns out good. It is a little more difficult to navigate then other cameras I have used but once I got used to it was fine. Would definitely recommend it for someone wanting a small great camera.

Would recommend to my friends and family. Good for sports shots

I am pretty tech savvy but a novice with cameras. I feel that this could be a great camera but its not user-friendly. At times, it takes great pics but too often they come out too blurry. I have tried changing settings and it has helped but iPhones take consistently better pictures without having to worry about settings. I expected more from this camera.

Originally bought an a400 but returned it to get this camera with continuous burst.

The camera worked great for two days. Then, I brought it on vacation and it started saying "lens error." The camera wouldn't take pictures anymore and wouldn't retract the lens. I had an older version of this same camera that had the same issue, but not until it was a few years old and had been dropped a few times. But, since this camera was brand new and in perfect condition, it makes me think this is an issue with Cannon Cameras.
