Great image quality for an ultra-compact

With its 1" sensor, the Canon G9X takes photos of the best image quality possible for anything in its size class. Note that this is the only truly pocketable camera on the market at the moment with a 1" sensor, being noticeably thinner and lighter than the Canon G7X. I can carry the G9X quite comfortably in my front jeans pocket, which I cannot ray for the G7X or the Sony RX100.

We bought this to replace our old point and shoot. Our criteria was that it fit into a pocket as well as take great photos. We also have a SLR and wanted something comparable that was smaller. This camera did not disappoint.

The camera is very cute and handy to take along in pockets. Good quality and very suitable for beginner. Yet, it is way more small, like a toy, than I expected.
I would recommend this to a friend
