I just purchased 2 of these cameras 2 months apart and love them. I keep a camera at each of my backyard windows for bird watching and moon gazing and gotten many compliments on my photos. LadyDi

Picture looks great on it but video automatically shuts off at 30 minutes. No where is this stated before you buy and use the camera. Menu difficult to navigate. Instruction booklet doesn't help much...once you find the English section, in the middle of the book.

I love the Canon PowerShot SX70 HS. I am still learning all the bells and whistles, but the pictures I've taken are clear and beautiful. Excellent product and value for the money.

Good Camera but manual is not the best. Battery charging is not possible without taking the battery out. Zoom is nice.

My previous cameras are Canon brand so transitioning up to this model was easy. The flip screen view finder in this one is a nice bonus. I look forward to many years of use.

I am a fairly new to photography and wanted to capture the wildlife on and around the lake I live on. I get wonderful shots - of the moon, too!

Good camera, just wish the auto focus was better. Struggles to come into focus on short distances.

This is a great bridge camera. The quality even at maximum distance is amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Bought this camera for my wife's Christmas present. She read the early reviews and decided upgrading from her Canon SX60 she loves was the way to go. This review is only for Best Buy and not the camera. Ordered the new SX70 before it was available in stores. Associate in the store camera Department was very knowledgeable and helped me with the order in-store rather than online. I had it delivered for pickup at the store rather than home to deny the "porch pirates". Was notified by text and email when it arrived a day earlier than promised. In-store pick was quick and easy.

Wife's a photographer; she wanted a camera to photograph birds she sees in the far distance. The Canon PowerShot SX70 fit the bill totally. Although it takes some time to get used to, it IS a great lightweight camera.

I purchased it for my bride, and she loves it. Nice and compact and it does what she needs it to do.

This is a great camera for the average photographers. It does everything that I as looking for in a camera and more!
