I would recommend the camera to anyone looking for great pictures.

Have two bigger cameras and wanted a compact to carry in pocket. This camera has the clarity and zoom of some of the bigger DSLR's, but you can carry it most anywhere. Very impressed with the quality of shots you can get with this camera.

You can't go wrong with this pocket camera. The battery last incredibly long. The features are easy to understand and silmple to use. It's a great camera and i would recommend it.

It tells you everything I needed to do and I am very happy with it

Great quality pictures and videos. Great zoom. Sometimes its a pain to focus in changing lighting (I walk around and film inside homes for work) but overall great, especially in the reduced price range it's in for cameras.

My daughter loves it. Takes great quality pictures even far away.

I was looking for a camera with ease of use and a great zoom. This camera is amazing! Very satisfied with this purchase, would definitely recommend. This camera is fast and brilliant. Captures what you need. Fantastic!!!

For the most part, I really like this camera. I love the 20 mega pixels of the stills and I like the video quality. The ONE THING I do not like is that when you press the button to take a still frame photo, the camera moves because the button is NOT sensitive enough. It is very weird. The photos are not blurred, but it doesn't feel right. Before you buy this one, check out a model at the store and try the button to see if you like the way it works. Other than that I like the camera. I mostly do video recordings on it anyway, so I decided not to return the camera.

We love our PowerShot camera. It is easy to use and very easy to carry along on trips. It also produces great pictures. My wife uses it mostly and she can't say enough good things about her PowerShot!

My son was able to use this camera with ease. He virtually taught himself to use this camera with all its features and applauded the how clear the zoom feature worked. He loves its light weight and color!

This camera takes excellent pictures and the zoom is amazing

On the fence about these compact camera's in general, concerned it would not provide quality comparable to my larger body digital SLR camera but I was certainly surprised when I shot photos indoor and outdoor on my vacation. Super easy to pack in pocket and the 40X optical reached when i needed it and was mostly impressed with the shots in low light conditions. Really exceeded my expectations. I have missed so many great shots over the years since I didn't want to lug my large and more expensive camera around and all my picture were instead with the substandard cell phone. Not any more. Will pack this everywhere. The color is very vivid as well and clarity excellent. No regrets other than I should have bought it sooner!

The camera works well. Easy to use and the zoom is great. Great pictures and good for beginners and above unless you want a 35mm separate lens camera, etc. Good deal for the price and I almost always get the Best Buy Protection Plan and Geek Squad Support. A Good investment in my opinion

I needed a small camera with a better zoom than the one I already had. This one fits that need. It has really good features, the zoom is good, the wifi option worked well. Still learning all the features but so far so good.

I purchased this camera for an African safari. The pictures were stunning. Great zoom and so compact. Everyone thought the pictures by someone with all kinds of lens would be better, but the ones from this camera were the best!

I did a ton of research before deciding on this Canon model. The zoom feature is incredible, the camera is easy to handle, and the photos come out crisply. Should I decide to explore the more advanced features, I have the option.

This is a great camera if you need something compact for travel. It fits in your pocket and takes pretty good pictures. I am very happy with it. It is not as good as some more expensive point and shoot cameras but definitely a good purchase for the price point.
