Canon RF 24-70mm f/2.8L IS USM

The 24-70 focal length is perfect for events, and the addition of IS in the new RF version has majorly enhanced an already outstanding lens. I purchased this lens for video work because of the IS and haven't taken it off yet. If you're even thinking about this one, you should probably pick one up.

Every bit as good as the EF versions

One thing that they do not tell you is that some of the older EF lenses cannot be driven by the R5/R6 batteries at high framerates due to the voltage compared to the higher pro 1D batteries. That being said, the lens feels very solid, and I have no doubt that it will be as good, if not better, as the EF version that it replaces in my bag!

My go to lens

I've also got the rf 15-35L and rf 70-200 2.8L but if I'm going to bring one lens for a non professional occasion like a family day out, I'm grabbing this hands down. I'm happy I went with this over the 28-70 but that's just personal preference for my needs.

It fulfills all my needs for the kind of pictures that I want to click. Best Buy service is also really good while selling the product. Loved it and would like to shop at Best Buy for many more products.
