I purchase all my Canon photo gear from Best Buy. They carry it all with very reasonable delivery. This new RF Z lens is nearly unbelievable. Tack sharp and when coupled with my R6 Mark II, the Auto Focus is fast. Plus I have the reassurance from Best Buy that they will stand behind my purchase….as always.

I love this lens! It has such a smooth zoom, great IBIS, and fast autofocus. It also comes with a much nicer bag than the old style gray bags. I would highly recommend this lens if you have a Canon mirrorless camera.

I’ve had and still bave the original RF 70-200. It bas irs ises cases for travel and wonderful for certain things. However, im doing more vidoe and rhe external zoom on the original causes micro jitters. The zoom throw on this new Z is so smooth. Its not my go to portrait lens as well as everyday sports. Honestly, if you’re on the fence or ever shot an EF internal zoom, make the leap ajd upgrade to the Z. Its better in everyway from the firsr RF aside from size.

I was so excited that BB had this lens available for PreOrder on 11/1/24. I placed my order and was told it eould ship on 11/14/24. However, when that day came, noe the lens was out of stock and i was told on their website that the lens shoukd still ship soon, but if it didnt ship by 11/28/24, BB would cancel my order. I contacted customer support two times during the dates 11/14-11/28 and was promised both times that i should not worryabout cancellation because the lens will ship and my order would not be cancelled. After my order was cancelled, i contacted BB agsin and my conversation was cut off when they tried to transfer to a supervisor. Terrible customer support. Worst experience ever! Best Buy you can do better!

Pre-ordered this on Bestbuy.com when it became available. 2 weeks later, on release day, they informed me they didn't actually have any in stock to ship to me. Now they're unavailable everywhere and who knows when Canon will restock. Sour experience, will go elsewhere for future pre-orders.
