Great flash. If you're a beginner the automatic settings are a big help for taking the perfect shots

I originally had an "other" brand flash that was compatible with Canon but I wasnt happy with it, It just didnt seem quick enough for the camera. I went & spent them extra few dollars for a Canon, but it was so worth it! Happy I made the switch

My wife purchased this flash for weddings. The silent recharge is essential and is very quick. The flash easily snap locks into the camera which is much better then the screw tighten and loosen locking system on previous models. I am not to knowledgeable about all the different camera controls, but my wife explains they are brilliant. She can control all setting from the camera menu and other great things I can't explain. The only down side about big flashes is the weight. It almost doubles the weight of the camera. But it is worth it. Very good flash for the money.

This product was a very reasonable price for such a high quality flash. The flash worked very well, was easy to use and takes very high quality pictures.

I bought this flash as a replacement to the one that was stolen from me. Same brand & model...very easy to use and set-up and the price is affordable.

I take a lot of low light pictures with my Canon 70d, and when I bought this flash I put batteries in it, slid it onto camera, turned it on, rotated the flash up at around a 70 degree angle and the very first picture came out great! Aiming the flash up and letting it bounce off of things totally changes the pictures, and people don't squint. I definitely recommend this flash for anyone that takes a lot of low light close range pictures.

Stepped up to the Canon fladh after my aftermarket flash died. Great investment.

I have used it a few times and love it. I am still learning how to, when to, where to use it/deploy it. But so far, I like it very much.... I know if I need a flash, this beast is going to work for me. The only draw back I see so far is, this is a large flash. So walking around with it attached to the camera could be a pain and it could get in the way. I will update this in a month or so, after I use is a few more times.

Not a bad buy at all. Used the flash for several dimly lit shoots and they came out great! Plug and play set up! Very simple to maneuver!

WOW WHAT A WORK HORSE. REAL GREAT ALL AROUND FLASH. well made a little high on price but worth it . I would recommend it to any one speend a little now for good equipment and youwill not have to replace sooner than later

I'm by no means a professional photographer, but I'd like to think I'm at least a skilled amateur. Why it took me so long to purchase an external flash I have no idea, but I couldn't be happier with this one. Mostly because there's no comparison to the quality of shots with an external flash and the one built in the body itself (Canon t4i). The built in flash is too harsh, and is impossible to control, as opposed to the ability to angle and swivel the 430exii. I really like this flash for the money it cost. One of the best things about starting an external lighting set with this one, is that you will not "out grow" this flash. As I get better and require additional flashes, this one will sync with the speedlite 580, using it as a master and this one as a slave. I'm not there yet, but I'm looking forward to it one day! My only complaint was the built in diffuser, which isn't great. I got a Sto-Fen bounce diffuser online for about $15 that works great, though Best Buy didn't carry it at the time I bought this flash.

I love my flash ...easy to use ..I use it to take family pictures and my pictures are a lot better quality than without the flash

This was my first "professional grade" flash product. It is easy to use - highly effective - produces a great final photo!

I am still a novice when it comes to photography but shooting outside has always been waist for me with the natural light. Indoor always seems to be a challenge due to poor lighting. The speed lite has increased the quality of my pics immediately. Although I am still learning this has been easy to use this far. I will follow up in a few weeks as I use it more.

This replaced a 580 that had died from leaking batteries. I was in a hurry to go to a graduation so I just sent my husband to Best Buy to snag this flash. It's integrating perfectly with both my D6 and D7.

Easy to use on and off camera. Setup/adjustment takes no time. Quality of pictures has been great-almost professional looking.

Great flash for darker areas. Makes a difference on my shots.

I thought the flash was easy to use and the overall picture quality improved versus using the pre-installed attached flash.
