To complement my new 7D Markii I decided to get this new flash and it is awesome. The cycle time is very fast. I can take a few shots and not have to wait for it to recharge. I only the product for a few days and still exploring. I only gave it a 4 stars because of the price.

I find the flash has a good recovery and easy to adjust the out put on manual or it is faithful on auto.

I bought this item to get a more powerful flash for off camera lighting. This unit does the trick. It's reliable and I really love the color temperature this unit puts out. The only thing is this unit is a bit complicated to use. Great build quality.

Bar none: The Canon 600 EXII-RT Flash is the best flash out here! When coupled with a radio transmitter, the flash performs beautifully with no issues! As with any other flashes, though, the best advise is to use it when it's fully charged, or else it may exhibit some "interesting" qualities to you while using it (such as not fully charging quickly, etc.). Other than that, this is my flash of choice; that is, until Canon comes up with an even better version than this one!

I've never had a flash like this before and the features are incredible. The ability to change direction and spread of the light is super awesome... No more of those ugly shadows a normal flash would cast! I also love that you can use a remote trigger with these, so it doesn't even need to be attached to your camera. Huge win!
