I have found the Canon 600EX-RT to be a powerful flash with nice radio trigger capabilities for controlling other wireless speedlites such as other 600EX-RT's or 430EX III-RT's. I also recommend getting an off-camera TTL flash cord to allow you to remove the flash from your camera. That allows you position the light it provides in other useful ways.

I have 2 i love them. i use them for multiple lighting.

Canon claims that it won't work with cameras pre-2012 but every feature works just fine on my T3i. HSS, 2ND shutter sync, etc. Obviously the wireless feature only works with 5d3 and future models. But on camera works flawlessly.

Very good for taking pictures. Would recommend to a friend.

I use this flash for my on location shoots including weddings. Over the years each new Speedlight has become better with consistency and added feature. I use a Quantum battery which creates an almost instantaneous recycling time. The new head shape has caused me to reinvest in new flash modifiers, but it is proving worth it. Highly recommend.

I shoot weddings with this flash and it has yet to let me down. I find that the bigger flash head has more area of flash lit up. It recycles very quickly and it is able to let you know when your batteries are low.

Very easy to use, puts out appropriate flash as needed

This flash replaced my 430 EXII and from the first image I took with it I knew this flash would take my images to the next level. Albeit a little pricey but it is definitely worth it.

The first one I purchased must have been defective as my camera wouldn't read it as a canon flash. I am a new photographer so I was skeptical about trying again but I am glad that I did. This flash is wonderful. I love the ETTL feature. I can't wait to get a second to add to my equipment.

Already have a 580EX and wanted another flash for mutiple flash setups. Looked at non-Canon flashes and read the reviewswhich varied but decided to stick with the Canon because I have really liked the quality of all their products.

This speedlite is an amazing user friendly flash that will allow you to capture beautiful photographs every time. I was very impressed with the fast cycle times between shots. I recommend this product to any photographers who are on a budget or who has tons of money this is the speedlite for life.

This external flash is great! It's really easy to use, I've taken it to many places for pictures and it truly is amazing!!!!

I own couple of these flashes and they're great. love the speed sync and the master & slave mode on them. I dropped them few times and they still function perfectly. I'm looking forward to purchase another two once I get my studio done.

I've already replaced all my 580's! This is a great flash! Good output and many options for control either singly or as part of a multi-speedlight setup. High speed sync is standard and works like a charm!

As a beginner, felt difficult to understand the features, but very handy and easy to use once get used to it

Great flash. Wireless feature only works with other 600ex-rt flashes. Flash will act as an infra-red master or slave for any other flash.

I have used this flash to photograph weddings and would absolutely recommend it. I now own 2 and would recommend this for any photographer
