Great flash - but expensive

Rechargeable battery, super fast recycle time between flashes, easy to navigate menu and controls, and modeling light. With that being said you have to weigh all the pros with the major con being the purchase price. It doesn't produce any more light than the Canon - Speedlite 600EX II-RT External Flash and costs twice as much. Also many of the light modifiers on the market are hard to put on if at all possible. However, I don't regret the purchase.

Didn't think Canon would make such a good flash

It works with a solid range of lenses. The quality of the build is solid with all the features and communication you'd want from a comparable unit like a Godox. The biggest win for this is the use of rechargable L6 batteries that share with "most" pro canon cameras. So for example if you are running a EOS R, R6, R5. Then you've already got batteries you can share with your camera! Never go unprepared for a paid shoot again. Could not recommend this flash enough.
