Nice camera but you have to be centered on what you re viewing. Things on the periphery are a little blurry. This makes filming soccer games tough unless you watch from the view finder, but then you can miss action on the field.

I use this camera to film our football practices and it has not disappointed.

I bought the item open box and some of the pieces included in the brown shopping bag were not from the same manufacturer. This was on the back of purchasing another camcorder online as an open box and after travelling 17 miles to pick it up, it didn't even have a battery nor a charger for it. Like really? How was I supposed to power it- with an infinity stone?!?! Beware of open box purchases- I was once a firm believer in it but the apple has fallen far from the tree with Best Buy quality control

I bought this to film me replacing doors on a bunch of storage units. Just for my own good so no one could make false claims of me breaking or stealing there things. I put it on a tripod an recorded about 8 hours at a time in the 100 degree heat. Only once out of 200 hours of work did it over heat an of course with such long periods of time I kept it plugged in charging while I was recording. Overall I don't know much about cameras but I thought it was pretty good an definitely got the job done for what I needed.

Canon's waterproof camcorder is small but has 40x optical zoom, making it great for filming close and far. It comes in black or blue, I opted for the blue just because every other camcorder in the world is black. Setup is easy, just flip open the viewscreen, which is a touchscreen, and adjust the settings the way you want. You can even adjust the sensitivity of the touchscreen. The camcorder comes with 8GB of built-in memory or you can add an SD card (not included). For power and transfers there are included mini USB cords/adapters. Video quality is good, you can set it to record with or without sound. Being waterproof to 5 meters (just over 15 feet) is a great plus, I took mine paddleboarding and it definitely got wet from the wake put out by boats. It kept on working just fine, no problems. It's quite small and lightweight, making it great for people on the go. The strap on the side of the camcorder makes it easy to use one-handed and you only have to press one button to start and stop recording. The zoom control is on top of the camcorder, making it easy to zoom in and out as necessary.

Daughter bought it to use underwater and she has a lot of fun with it.

Purchased this camera for an Alaska cruise. I lost all my pictures attempting to down load them to my computer. I don't blame the camera but likely my fault since I did not read the instructions. Note to self: Read the instructions. Frustrating to loose so many pictures on such a fantastic trip. I also purchased for the underwater feature, but I did not get a chance to use that yet.
