If you need a remote shutter control this works well. It does use infrared to activate the shutter which on my camera is on the front of the camera. Keep that in mind depending on your planned use.

Great product for canon cameras. Works great for any day use.

This is a great product! It was recommended a 6 ft max. I have used it further with no problems. I would highly recommended this and now you can throw away our selfie stick! ;)

I really like this remote. I didn't even realize that my Canon T1i had an IR remote sensor but after seeing this remote in-store I checked the compatibility list and found that it does. So I purchased it and tested it when I got home. It works great. I use it for group pics, but also to release the shutter for long exposure shots (such as night shots) to avoid tripod vibration (from manually releasing the shutter.)

Works well with my Canon T4i, all it needs is point in right direction (towards bluetooth receiver) - [that's d reason u will always see me in left corner in most of the pics]

Very easy to use and extremely reliable! Bought to take self portraits for our family!

Works on and off.. mostly it’s great for what I need it. But it works only couple times and then stops during my shoot and I have to wait and tap it a bit to make it when again. I eventually purchased another remote Amazon Brand and that one seems to work magic without any pauses and for little less .. I’m keeping both as they are easy to lose due to size ;)

Works good. Hard to remember to turn the switch off so I wouldn't have ran the battery down. Overall...easy to use

This remote is super cool. Behind the button you ca flip it from pictures to videos. FYI- you have to change some setting to use this control.

no so good and very expensive, so we cannot use to take selfies, because the range of this remote control is very short.

I take lots of pics however I was not in many of them. The 10 second feature on the camera works well but sometimes you can't pose exactly the way you would want when you only have 10 seconds. With this device you have plenty of time to set up the picture the way you want and it is small and undetectable in your hand. Just click when ready!

This is the original remote offered by Canon. Stay away from the aftermarket ones you’ll find on eBay that are very hit or miss. Easy setup and it works!!! I used this on a Canon Rebel T5i DSLR camera for starting and stopping video recording. Check YouTube for setup videos.

This is the second one I've owned, it works great for self and group photos, also for tripping the shutter for long exposure shots.

This worked pretty good with my canon 70d... I do night photography which requires long exposures... Over 1 min long... I think i'm fixing to move up to a wires shutter release because you dont have to hold it in front of the camera and try a couple times to get it to work right... I have it figured out now... Just took a little getting used to

Recently started experimenting taking night shots and wanted something other than using the camera timer. The Canon wireless remote is a good option and far less expensive than using other remote options. PS: Mine did come with the battery so you may want to check the remote before purchasing a battery.

This remote control versus some cheaper aftermarket brand is much more useful. You can switch from the #1 Photo remote to #2 Video remote on the back of the panel. The other remotes only work for photos. If you are a YouTube'r...then you will want the video remote portion capability.

We like taking our own family photos, really who pays for family portraits now day? The problem I had was figuring out the time and then getting in place in time for the timer. After getting this no more problem with timers or getting in place just hold the clicker on my hand and we are good to go.
