The teenagers love this one - definitely a chick flick

What are my favourite movies of my childhood Yeah you get a bit of that late eighties early nineties cheese but it's the good cheese I highly recommend this movie and also the remake as a companion My only wish is that this movie would be released on 4K eventually, Until then grab this DVD you won't be disappointed

Glad I was able to find this movie. Loved it! Wished I would have paid more attention to the format, it was full frame as opposed to widescreen. But that was my fault. Not even sure it comes in widescreen, let alone Blu Ray.

Used to watching this movie as a child and couldn't find it on cable. So glad I found it through Best Buy!

You can tell how good a movie is by how many future movies in the same genre reference it or how many times it's remade. I think this says enough about "Cant' Buy Me Love."

80's movies are the best and Patrick Dempsey is remarkable in this film. I am a huge fan and also enjoyed him in Loverboy! He brings humor in any role but can also be serious when needed. Amanda Peterson was also exceptional in this film! She is an absolute beauty with a great smile and the perfect actress to play this role as a snob. Although the method in which the geek (PD) bought his way into popularity with the snooty girl (AP) and "in" crowd is a bit unorthodox, it still happens today in different ways. Overall great movie and highly recommend for a good laugh and interesting story!

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. It is funny to see Patrick Dempsey back then and now what he looks like on Grey's Anatomy. He plays a geek who pays his way into popularity. The geek gets the girl but it has twists along the way. It is funny as well. It will play with your heart and emotions too. It has a great story to it. It is worth the purchase especially at this price
