I've bought a new cheap smartphone every year for 5 years and this one tops mainly because it has the most internal storage space. All my other phones could only run a handful of apps or less after a year's worth of updates taking up my storage space. I would put as much into my SD card but they had to first be downloaded into the phone, and it would often glitch and crash when I put them to the card on my ZTE sonata 2. The ZTE sonata 1 and 2 had great sound quality. The 1 had best battery life of any phone i've had, and I loved the compact size similar to iPhones. The canvas has poor speakerphone quality and decent call quality, but not the worst. Camera is great at this price. It did have an interface malfunction once when I was expecting a very important call, and my phone never rang when it was called because of this. Ironically, that's the only time that has happened. Sometimes I have to tap twice for the screen to acknowledge my tap, but that may be partially due to my using a glass screen protector.

I really wanted to be in love with this phone. It has a lot of good features for a low price, including the screen size, cameras, and ability to hold a large microchip. The catch is that the phone frequently freezes up on me, especially in gmail. A few times the microphone has also died, leaving my callers wondering what happened to me. If there's a way to circumvent these issues, it's a fantastic phone for the price

Wow is exactly what I thought to myself. I must admit I was both skeptical & drawn to this particular phone when I first saw it. After what seemed as though a hour I purchased it. Boy was I surprised by how much this phone could do. The best part that I licked was the fact it doesn't drop calls as my LG did and any other before that. It was not a "luck of the draw " seeing that iv traveled to the city several times and it didn't drop a call in the usual areas. The second thing I loved was the camera. Seeing that I'm very photogenic , I take a lot of selfies. The pictures were crystal clear. So summing up my review I will say yes I would definitely recommend not only the canvas but any other coolpad phone

Phone is the best prepaid I have owned. Fast processor, large amount of storage, great camera, and HD screen.

I recently had my everyday phone suddenly quit working. I ordered a new device online but it wasn't going to get to me until after a weekend out of town. So I needed an affordable device to be able to make and receive calls etc. to get me through the weekend. This coolpad was on sale for $30 and seemed to fit the bill. I was very surprised and impressed with the quality of the handset! Aside from a few glitches with the campground wifi it performed relatively smooth. This is a great, dependable backup device for the cost.

I needed a phone to use with my cricket account quickly and did not want to spend a lot. This phone was on sale and is well worth the money.

My daughter needed a go phone and this was perfect for her. It was also affordable and she has not had any issues with it.

for one with small hands, fits well. Plenty of memory for me. Seamless transfer of data from old phone. Not sure why people pay so much for phones!

Takes great photos has plenty storage and expandability

An excellent phone for the price. Plenty of storage for me. Most times it is quick. Dropped a star due to the occasional need to reboot. Touch screen becomes sluggish or slow retrieving data. I reboot and it is okay. This happens maybe monthly.

A phone only $50 with 5.5 inch screen, Android 7. It has decent performance and hardware configurations. Except for locked by carrier (can be unlocked after 6 months or using a unlimited plan), it's a excellent budget phone at this price.

Affordable big screen phone great for watching videos and photos

It's my first smartphone. So take my review with a grain of salt. It's a decent phone. Runs apps well enough. Sound quality is about what you'd expect. I don't run the data too much. So I can't comment on that. But it seems adequate for casual internet browsing. The camera was surprisingly decent for taking a close up picture of something. However the ads included don't bother at times. For the price though it seems worth it well enough. I don't live on my phone, so it's good enough for someone who simply needs to stay in touch.

The phone is easy to set up and use. I like the larger size although the phone is very SLIM and definitely needs a case for protection. Happy with it.

This Coolpad canvas phone is awesome, The manager Kevan at the Lubbock store location was great & after accepting a returned phone that had been damaged ,he replaced it with this cricket Coolpad canvas that I,ve been happy with . It,s easy to use and great for all purposes that I need . Thank you Cricket & Best buy for making all my technical shopping easy & affordable.

It was pretty easy to figure out not as good as a note or LG but still a great phone for the price.

I purchased this phone for my son (11) for Xmas and he loves it. So far he is having no issues with calls or texting. Everything is working great. And he loves that it's bigger than my phone. Lol
