Just enoguh to add mild resistance or to replace light weight dumbbells for begginers. I never used this one for assisted pull ups, it is enough to add resistance to other body weight exercises like push ups. Folding the band in half also adds more resitance than using it at full length. Still in good shape after 3yrs of light use.

Stretches well. Good for resistance training. Easier to store than dumbbells.

It has a durable, built to last, feel to it. Offers a good amount of resistance while allowing the flexibility to be used in a number of ways (unlike smaller bands).

Has a learning curve to it. Once you understand the many ways you can use it becomes a must have item at home and on travel.

This would be a nice workout band but I do not recommend the medium power for beginners. I can't use and will give it to someone much younger and stronger. Should have gone with the light one.
