How does one take a large body of work--5 albums to be exact--and boil it down to 15 songs? The answer: not easily, but this album does a pretty good job. Of course, every fan has his/her say as to which songs *should* be on a "Best Of" album, and those arguments can go on forever; this album, however, has some real no-brainers in terms of track listing. I'm talking about "Every Day Should Be a Holiday," "Bohemian Like You," "The Last High," and "Smoke It," which are amongst the most well-known Dandys songs, unless you lived under a rock and avoided any and all alternative radio in the late '90s/early '00s. Whether you're a long-time Dandys fan or new to their groove, this is definitely worth adding to your music collection. Chances are you'll be like me and wind up owning all their albums.
