Fantastic grinder! We decided on this one based on a Americans Test Kitchen recommendation and as usual they were right. Solid construction and looks good as well.

Had a blade coffee grinder for years. Now that I know the difference, how I survived this long is a miracle. Rarely do I give five stars but this is worth the money. It’s easy to use. It does an excellent job. Some have complained about static electricity causing the grounds to spill when pouring out. It’s really a low humidity problem that is to blame. My advice is to get a whole house humidifier if it’s a problem.
Great value & quality...Can get messy & hard clean

Well made, great value for the money, and one of the quietest grinders I have had (if you get the stainless steel vs. plastic)...BUT its static does make a small mess with the coffee chaff and is a little cumbersome to clean. I recommend this product, but you will need to get a better cleaning brush to clean the grinders and inside.

I had a Braun burr grinder for 20 years with ~ 10,000 grinds on it. The day it died was awful, so I researched these new burr grinders for quite some time. This Capresso grinder (so far) is fantastic. Not only does it result in a consistent grind with my beans, but it is by far the quietest burr grinder that I have ever heard. It is not messy, and I am super happy so far.

Capresso Dream Machine became a NIGHTMARE - PURCHASE February, 2019
1.8 years ago, my 50 year old Braun German-made grinder expired of old age. I purchased the Capresso 575 which for under two years was my dream coffee grinder. I've left multiple positive answers and great references for this machine since I bought it BUT NOT NOW (read on!) - first thing in the morning and late at night (I'm a retired firefighter/medic and got pushed into Public Health after retirement so starting in early March, 2020, have found myself working 16-20 hours per day/7 days a week for essentially no pay). The Capresso was so quiet and so reliable -- UNTIL IT WAS NOT! This morning, anticipating yet another day of increased infection rate, more citizen issues, and the need for my morning coffee at 5:48 a.m., I turned the time wheel and no power. The receptacle was not the problem. The grinder motor simply would not even operate. The Juro Capresso provides no reference nor assistance. Searches for troubleshooting suggest this can happen but no reason given. The power cord has never even been extended or stretched. The hopper sits and spins perfectly. No troubleshoot idea applies. It simply DIED. The base is impenetrable because Juro used bolts that are either proprietary or are non-removable. Answer IT Breaks, you buy again seems to be their answer. Can I recommend it now? NO - DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND IT IS UNRELIABLE!

I was on the fence to get it or not. I finally did. It grinds consistently and does it relatively quietly. I love fresh coffee I make use of this grinder and percolator. Cleaning is easy and more importantly it is stable on the countertop. I like it and have no hesitation in recommending this grinder.

I purchased the more expensive model of this grinder and I’m so happy that I did.
Just the fact that when grinding the noise level is low makes it worthwhile.

I got this as a length-of-service reward through my company and it was shipped by BB. Nothing against BB. The first grinder that arrived didn't grind coarse enough. Customer service at Jura/Capresso was very responsive and had me send it in for service. They sent a new one. Again it doesn't grind coarse enough for anything other than pour over. Sent it back. They just called and said it operates as expected. So, if you're looking for something to do a french press or cold brew, pass on this.
