Captain America Civil War is a awesome movie. The 4K picture quality is a huge upgrade from the Bluray disc. You can definitely tell the difference on your 4K tv! This is one if not the best 4K releases from Marvel Studios and Disney when it comes to picture quality. The sound/audio on the 4K seem to be louder than the bluray disk too. The only bad thing is no IMAX footage during the airforce battle, where the screen gets bigger. The 4K upgrade is extremely worth it.

The movie itself is great - it's essentially another Avengers movie under the Captain America umbrella. The 4K image is fantastic - loads of details in faces and especially the costumes, and the black levels. colors and HDR are all brilliant. I also thought the Atmos soundtrack was a lot of fun - not quite as dynamic as the best mixes out there, but still some strong bass and some impressive uses of Atmos, especially during the airport fight sequence.

I could not wait for this movie or any of the Marvel Universe movies to be available on 4K Ultra HD, for those that own 4k HD Televisions I have the LG 65UK60 with HDR and watching movies like this in 4k is truly an experience that rivals and beats seeing this movie in theatres which I did. This movie was a must to own to add to my growing collection of 4k Ultra HD movies which now surpasses 200+. Let the enjoyment and the trills in 4k begin.

This isn't a review on the movie because it's a Captain America MCU movie, of course it's going to be great. This is about the picture and audio. The picture quality is fantastic. Overall the detail, sharpness and clarity are great. There is not a shred of grain in the movie and it's razor sharp through and through. I was hoping for the IMAX scenes but those might only be on the 3D version. Even though the color palate was cooler that does not mean the HDR does not deliver. It brings out a ton of detail in the color. As far as sound quality, this suffers from the typical Disney underwhelming Dolby Atmos. The surround and above sounds are vastly improved but the dialogue needs worked on to be more dynamic. You will probably end up turning up the sound with this one. This was the only reason it got a 4-star rating

As the second film from the Russo Brothers, Captain America Civil War was and is a welcome addition to the MCU. A great start to Phase 3 and a good final movie in the Captain America trilogy. The presence of the Avengers in the movie doesn't make it not feel like a Captain America movie. It is a must watch for being not just a great film, but as one of the most important films in the MCU and in the lead-up to Infinity War and Endgame

What can you say about this awesome movie? Civil War or as I would call it "Avengers 2.5" gets its name from having Captain America's team of Bucky Barnes: The Winter Soldier, Falcon, Hawkeye, Scarlet Witch, and Ant-Man fight against Iron Man, War Machine, Vision, Black Widow alongside two newcomers. Black Panther and Spider-Man. The battle scene in the airport alone was fantastic and visually rich in its 4K format..  

One of the best MCU movies, and considering how great they all are, that's really saying something. Although not quite as much of a "war" as one would hope (which is a given compared to the comic book story from which it is adapted, featuring dozens of characters and spanning multiple conflicts), CA:CW is a defining movie for the characters and the universe, and is definitely one of my favorites. So glad it's now in 4K!

This is my personal favorite Marvel movie. The Story has it's flaws, and it doesn't stick true to the comics (which I don't think would translate to the big screen anyways), but the pacing is phenomenal, the introductions of new heroes fantastic, and the fights out of the world. The 4k looks fantastic and crisp, with the HDR really creating some amazing contrast and pop to the colors, especially towards the end.

I loved this movie, it was pure spectacle from start to finish including an airport scene that could be lifted straight from a comic book, so much fun action and excitement. That being said, this is more like an Avengers film for how many characters were crammed into it. That doesn't take away from my enjoyment though. The steelbook is high quality as always, and wasn't dented or scratched on the spine at all.

First off, what a wonderful movie, Captain America Civil War on 4K grabs your attention within the first minute and holds your interest till the after credits. Picture quality of this 4K blu-ray is phenomenal, crisp, vibrantly detailed, reach out and touch the Avengers real. Audio as well on this 4K blu-ray hits hard with every impact, the explosions rock your seat. A must have for any Marvel Movie fan.

It is one of the best movies to ever come out of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, balancing engaging action set pieces and witty dialogue with intelligent character studies and ethical debates The fact that a Marvel movie dares to question the big, shiny spectacle that is its bread and butter - and acknowledge that untold thousands die in the name of entertainment - seems rather novel.

Just when you thought Winter Soldier was the best! The Russo brothers top themselves with this super hero brawl. Never ever ever has any film attempted to put this many super characters in one action film. To top it off the genius of this film is build up to the ultimate battle. You know and love each character, and seeing the dynamics and history all rolled in is just so well crafted.

The continuation of the Marvel universe, this brings a whole new set of problems to some members of the Avengers and shows the growing turmoil in some of the characters. As for the product itself, packaging is good, obviously love that there is a Blu-ray disc and also the convenience of the digital version. The only thing I'm slightly disappointed in is the lack of special features.

Captain America Civil War took the Marvel movie series to a new level with drama and action. Seeing it in 4K opened it up again for me. The video is the best presentation that is out there with the HDR adding more and brighter colors. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack takes the audio to a new level but may need some adjustment for your ears. Keep the steelbooks coming!

You've likely seen the film in question so I will focus this brief review on the picture and packaging quality. Simply put, the film looks astounding in 4K. The film's daylight action sequences were made to be seen in Ultra HD! The steelbook also looks beautiful. I wish other studios' steelbook releases had the same art quality as does Marvel/Disney.

I very quickly forgot that this was part of the Captain America branch of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It felt more like I was watching Avengers part 2 1/2. The action scenes don’t disappoint, but it’s also built upon the foundation of a strong storyline. If you need a crash course on the Marvel Universe, I would suggest Civil War is one of the best.

I honestly don't like Civil War as much as a lot of other MCU fans do. It feels a little too much like Winter Soldier (aka 3 Days of the Condor Marvel edition) part II. It didn't add enough new stuff for me, and the airport scene is extremely poorly staged and photographed for the simple sake of "this will be a cool shot for comic fans." Still a solid entry, I just felt it was a little repetitive in it's themes. This new release has awesome artwork on the steelbook, the HDR on the 4K pops, and the Atmos sound mix is pretty great though, in typical Disney fashion, requires you to turn it up a little more than most releases.

I love this movie. This movie is definitely an extension of The avengers franchise, literally more so than a Captain America movie. with that said loved every minute of it, all the characters, the action was tremendous. Without spoiling my favorite part was the airport scene. You'll know what I'm talking about when you get to it. Highly recommend.

Glad to see Disney/Marvel is starting to re-release some of their more recent movies into 4K, especially action packed ones like the Captain America series. Hope to see them start doing this with other series in the Marvel Universe. To me, this was worth upgrading, I can see the color/texture differences between this and the old BR version I had.

Resolution, lighting, and color improvements are enough to justify the UHD, but barely. This should have had the quality of "The Avengers" but falls short. However, the release easily bests "The Winter Solider." Audio is solid, better than "Black Panther." The film is an instant classic, perhaps the greatest of all Marvel releases. Until of course, the Black Panther. Pacing, direction, suspense, action, it is all there. The acting speaks for itself. In its' wake, many will try to get to this peak without the investment and preparation of a multi-film arc. Many will fail. UHD 85/100. Genre Film: 90/100.
