A solid entry in the MCU franchise! The introduction of Captain America and his origins explained. A classy period piece that will age gracefully. The film is shot in soft tones reminiscent of the WWII era films. Great story! Highly reccommend!

Captain America: The first Avenger is an excellent film! Bringing the character of Captain America to life was actually better than I thought it would be. Marvel had outdone themselves creating this film. A must see! Even better in 4K!

I went to see this movie in the theater and didn't know there would be a series so I didn't purchase it back then. Love that I have it in my movie collection now. 4K sound and vision on my Samsung 4K and 4K Blu-Ray make it AWESOME!!!

If you are an MCU fan, this is a must. Disney doesn't often put the older titles on sale, so get it at a discount when you can. Captain America is one of the better MCU films, if you ask me. Chris Evans personifies Cap'.

Chris Evans will be immortalized as Captain America. It will be near impossible for anyone to ever take his place because he did that great a job. This is the beginning of the Cap trilogy and explores his origin. Must see.

Captain America: The First Avenger is the beginning of what became (arguably) the best character trilogy in the MCU. At least, that is my opinion. This package was also well done; I don't have any complaints. Highly recommended.

Most of the Marvel movies are great and this one is no exception. I purchased this using reward certificates. I do feel like these movies are over priced. $25 for and 8 year old movie seems high but all the Marvel movies are still $25.

It's nice to see the Phase One movies starting to show up in the Steelbook cases. I've been waiting for Marvel to reissue them/release new editions of these films for that very reason. No new features, but the 4k transfer looks great!

The one that started it all! We love Captain America! Bought several Marcel movies lately for my husband, but technically our whole family watches them. Working on filling his collection, and Best Buy is a great place to do that!

Steelbook case itself is very cool. (Cover is orginal movie poster) Solid 4K upgrade picture and sound from previous blu-ray release. (About as good as you can make the movie look considering it was never a very bright colorful film.)

This is where Captain America's story all started and then kicked off the continuing Marvel saga. I bought all 3 Captain America 4K movies in limited steel book versions because they are cool and might be worth hanging on to.

this is a really great kick-off to the Captain America trilogy. ends up being a rare instance that it got better as it went on. one of the best looking steels or the best one so far this year, one of the best in the MCU for sure.

Good ole fashioned story about valour, values, and a big heart in a small package. There is a reason why Steve Rogers is the Captain and leader of the Avengers. A stalwart example of how a good man and soldier should be.

Fun first flick, can't wait for Winter SOldier in 4K Steelbook from Best Buy to complete the MCU collection. Hoping for a price drop since they are still on store shelves after a week, but better to get it before prices go up!

Loving these 4k Steelbook re-releases and First Avenger is an absolute must buy for MCU fans. Such a great period movie and in 4k it really shines. I can't wait for the rest of the early Marvel films to get this treatment.

Another great addition to my Marvel steelbook collection. I've heard some mixed reviews about this transfer, but if you're a Marvel fan, I guess it's a must have. Pick up and judge it yourself. I definitely love this movie.

I've been waiting for this definitive version. A First Avenger steel book in 4k is what i've been wanting since the new format came out. It's amazing. I can't recommend this enough. The costumes and efx just pop out in 4k.

CA: TFA is an entertaining film that any fan of CA should pick up. The first half of the film is really good as it has emotional wright and explores he back story of CA and his origins. The second half on the other hand is where the film starts to drop as three film basically montage’s through 4 years of CA involvement in WW2 and although Hugo Weaving is a great Red Skull, the character itself is cartoony.

Seen this movie few years ago and still enjoying it to this day. Had to add it to my Marvel collection. Movie depicts the origin of Captain America beginnings. Good movie to watch to get into Marvel films.

Visual improvement on a marvel classic. Comes with 1080p blueray with bonus features on that disc. Dark scenes made much better wit hdr. Tesseract glowing, explosition and battle scenes improved hdr highlights.
