Super fun and smart game! Toad is adorable and the animation is tops!

While this version of Toad Treasure Tracker isn't too different from the Wii U, there are some differences. The two most notable differences are the new Mario Odyssey levels, which replace the Mario 3D World levels, and the platforms that moved by blowing before now move with a button press. I personally think it's worth rebuying this game if you owned the first because it is a ton of fun.

It's a different type of game than a usual Mario theme game, this game is all about solving puzzles to get to your goal. It's visually stunning with amazing design and quality. I would recommend this game for players 6yo+.

Captain Toad is a 3D puzzle and platforming game. Toad doesn't jump and mostly just avoids the bad guys so that most game stages focus is on 3D rotation and puzzle solving, So that makes it great for kids (a bit education) and families as the game can still be a challenge but takes away some of the challenging platforming elements, so it's less stressful. Toad does sometimes have toast bosses by throwing objects at them (like radishes and onions), or occasionally use the super hammer (like in Donkey Kong), or the super star (like in Super Mario Brothers) to take out enemies. Stage designs also look good, and are fun. There are several chapters which ramp up in difficulty, but after the easiest set of chapters the credits initially roll, so it's also great for kids who can feel like they beat the game after completing the core storyline. The late stages are challenging even for veteran gamers. Very well put-together game.

Very cute game mostly for single player tho very good puzzles a lot easier than playing on the wii u.

I love super mario and toad! I got this for Christmas for myself lol my toddler and I play it, its very fun and interactive. Wish there was alot more episodes tho. Do recommend!

Great puzzle platformer. Not too hard, Nintendo quality, and plenty of levels to have decent play time. Cant really go wrong with this game unless you prefer fast pace action me gore. This is more relaxing and take your time kind of game. Definitely good game for kids.

Real sleeper hit, lots of fun puzzles and great content. Would highly recommend and also Best Buy purchase of game was smooth.

Bought this game for my wife as she recently got into video games and she has had a lot of fun with it. I’m not a big puzzle game fan but some of these really do challenge you to think outside of the box, definitely recommend this game to help build your critical thinking skills.

Great game, great price but if you purchase it, and can pick it up from the store or get it delivered there.. home delivery sucked. Took about 2 weeks to arrive, had to call best buy and have it reshipped do to being lost plus delays

Spectacular fun and looks gorgeous on Nintendo Switch 1&2!

This is a cute little puzzler. Think of something like Monument Valley in the world of Super Mario, and you'll get an idea of what this game is like. As Toad, you navigate puzzle worlds of increasing difficulty, but the game is cute and chill enough that it can be a relaxing, casual experience as well. I enjoyed it as an adult, and my 9- and 6-year-old kids loved it too.

Captain Toad is a great game after a hard day of work when you just want to come home and get comfortable. The puzzles aren't super complicated and all the hidden goals can be completed given enough time and exploration. You can breeze through the game and only do enough to meet the objectives for the next level in a relatively small amount of time but completing everything in the game will take around 18 hours or so. I find the game extremely charming in all the little details that you see as you progress through the game.

Its the same game as the one on the Wii U, but now portable and looks even better with on the Switch 2.
