[Employee of bestbuy] I absolutely love this game. I originally got it when it released on the Wii U as a little boy, and now that I am quite grown up and in college with a Nintendo Switch, playing this game again really brought back a weird nostalgia and a sense of good times. It is a cute little puzzle platformer involving a Mario character that does not get the most attention, but has the most charming surprise appearances. If you are looking to experience the world of Mario from someone else's perspective, and enjoy puzzles, I highly recommend Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

This game is so much fun. Visuals: 5.0 Sound: 5.0 Puzzles: 4.0 Gameplay 5.0 Captain Toad is a great game. I am 41 years old with two kids, and I rarely have time to play a game, let alone finish one. Yet, I played this one all the way through. It is fun for all ages. It starts fairly straightforward, but the difficulty increases, and by the end, you're challenged. Overall, an excellent, relaxing yet challenging game to play after work.

Such a fun and cute game. Also great game for couch co-op. It’s an adorable game and great for kids and adults. A great title with a free Switch 2 update that makes the game look and run better. 10/10 in my opinion.

focusing on the character Captain Toad who had a minute in Super Mario 3D World, this is a puzzle based platforming game where you control Captain Toad (and Toadette) as they explore and save each other. Each level has a star you need to collect to win, as well as a diamond hidden for you to find, and an extra bonus thing such as defeat all enemies (while lacking a direct attack), avoiding being seen, collecting a certain amount of coins, etc. A really fun and chill game for all ages, but note it can be quite easy, so if you want a challenge this might not be the game for you.

Game was a lot of fun. If you enjoy calm, brain-teasing puzzle games with a hint of personality, Toad Slide is a worthwhile addition to your Switch library—just don’t expect a long or story-driven experience.

Very great game and got it at a great sales price. Also workers were really helpful. This game wasn’t on the floor but online said store had it. Associate dug around behind the counter and in the back and found it. Cerritos location is a great best buy

I love this game! I'm so excited Nintendo decided to port this game to the Switch with some Odyssey levels. The game is super cute and charming, and can actually get pretty difficult when you try and get all the collectibles. The graphics look really nice on both the Switch and the TV. It's cheaper than most Switch games at $40, and it's just as fun as the more expensive titles. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy puzzle games!

Captain Toad is a 3D puzzle and platforming game. Toad doesn't jump and mostly just avoids the bad guys so that most game stages focus is on 3D rotation and puzzle solving, So that makes it great for kids (a bit education) and families as the game can still be a challenge but takes away some of the challenging platforming elements, so it's less stressful. Toad does sometimes have toast bosses by throwing objects at them (like radishes and onions), or occasionally use the super hammer (like in Donkey Kong), or the super star (like in Super Mario Brothers) to take out enemies. Stage designs also look good, and are fun. There are several chapters which ramp up in difficulty, but after the easiest set of chapters the credits initially roll, so it's also great for kids who can feel like they beat the game after completing the core storyline. The late stages are challenging even for veteran gamers. Very well put-together game.

Easy to control and get a feel for. Starts easy but ramps up and makes you think pretty soon after starting. Runs in high resolution when played on Switch 2. Looks crisp but HDR effect is rather mild

The game is just ok, its not worth the money in my opinion. The camera views are terrible.

Although still fun on switch, the Wii U ver. is better due to the gameplay being built around the gamepad.

Tricky at first, but so much fun once you know what to look for! I’m not the most skilled at video games so I like that it gives you more chances if you didn’t find everything. Any Mario-character game that’s not super-difficult is something I’ll enjoy and I love this game!
