I have a 2008 Cadillac Escalade and it didn't come with Bluetooth. They didn't make it a factory option until 2009. I am also a big music person and I wanted to play all of the music I have on my phone so I went to Best Buy and was advised to buy this product that came with installation. When I left the installation bay I was amazed at how easy the set up was and I now had access to all of my music AND I could talk on my phone thru the Bluetooth just like it was on the 2009 models. I was ecstatic for about a week until I got in my car one day and the product would not sync up with my phone anymore. I tried everything I knew to do including calling the manufacturer and they told me that they would only talk to a certified installer on a Saturday. I was a little agitated then but pressed on. I finally went back to Best Buy and the technician replaced the module with a new one. It has been about 3 weeks now and it is working fine and I love the accesability to all of my stuff. I must say that when this product works it is just like having the factory options. I am very pleased with it and it was very reasonably priced especially when the installation is included. I just hope it stays synced to my phone.

I did a lot of research before buying this product and decided at the time that it would be the best option. The first one I bought directly from a Best Buy store and took it to another store because their Geek Squad could get me in faster to install it. The tech told me right off the bat that their guys hate the iSimple so that wasn't a good sign. The first one they put in would not connect to my iphone via Bluetooth but connected to the tech's android phone. He looked into it a little further and found the unit was defective. He said one out of every batch seems to be defective. He picked up another one off the shelf and it connected fine after the install. It played music great and the Bluetooth worked well but when I tried to make a phone call, I could hear the other person through the radio but they couldn't hear me. I tried using Siri but nothing would get through from my end. I ended up returning it and going with a new radio with Bluetooth and Apple Carplay.

Installed a few weeks ago and it's working perfectly. I have two phones paired depending on who is driving the car. Phone mic works great and clear. All around happy with the device.

Device is very very easy to install. Insyalled in less than 10 minutes. Works great with my phone. Sound quality is amazing.

The instructions seem to be clear to install but even the Geek Squad had a little difficulty installing it. The instructions are worthless on how to add other devices to it since the instructions talk about it in generic terms and radios in different cars work differently. Every time I use it it knocks my satellite stations off the menu and i have to toggle back and forth between stations a few times to get the data back on my screen. The biggest problem is the buzz that occurs when you accelerate the vehicle, making it impossible to hear. $200 down the toilet.

The main goal of my purchase was to have my phone connected to my car. I now do. The reception quality is not very good, as opposed to factory Bluetooth. There are other issues, such as, when the satellite radio plays and a phone app is on, the unit switches to Bluetooth to play the phone app and does not switch back to satellite mode. This must be done manually, every time the app has audio. This is not fun with Navigation apps. However, I do have Bluetooth in my car now:)

even the installer did not know how to explain the operation of the blue-tooth phone answering system they installed.

so far this has been a great addition. not as good as a factory installed Bluetooth but very good for an aftermarket version

This device gives you the convenience of wireless listening to music from your Apple device, into your car stereo. Sound quality does not seem to be sacrificed here.

Must say good product and great I.T. Great service

I recently decided to purchase the bluetooth install kit over a new radio console. The bluetooth works, but as will happen with bluetooth, the connection isn't always the best; I lose the first second of every new song.

I'm not a fan of wires everywhere in my car (2008 Cadillac) this fully integrated in my current system virtually nothing extra visible. Easy connectivity. Store tech installed in less than an hour.
