I'm giving it 4 stars simply because I've played the PC version which is better but PC games are always better. With that being said, if this is the first time you're playing this game it's better than sliced bread. Any car enthusiast will find the depth of this game very rewarding. Take some time to familiarize yourself with the controls and don't skip the tutorial. There is an upgrade system in the game that's very important as you level up keep an eye on it. You start with the bare bones in story mode and will be salivating at the mouth to unlock higher level upgrades. Have fun tearing down engines and sifting through old barns for a once in a lifetime find. This game is not for kids unless you're willing to put in a little bit of time to show them how to play and if they can't read yet it's going to be a full-time job for you. This game is a new kind of challenge; it deals in real life. You have to actually fix cars and there are rules you have to follow. Seek discomfort

This game is pretty good but the port over to platform is not perfect a mouse is better to play with because it is more precise using the joystick can be annoying because it is a little more cumbersome to get to certain parts like the clips for the air filters and the cursor sometimes lists to the left every so slightly. That being said I like the fact they had the bolts auto triggered when going to take off a part pretty fun game all in all the game is very fun.

Bought this for my 7 year old who loves cars and their workings. This game is very detailed, but most aspects are simple enough for him to understand/work without my assistance. I think it's even useful as a teaching device, as he now is able to identify more vehicle parts and some maintenance/repair procedures.

Car Mechanic Simulator is a very fun game where you can learn and have fun simulating working in a garage. It is good for younger people to learn how things work together, and is still fun for adults to just enjoy their creations.

I bought this game for my son for his birthday. I believe he has a new favorite game. He likes working on the cars and finding hidden cars. He really enjoys this game.

This game helps you with your personal car. Since you are a mechanic. I would not do everything with my personal car but it is good to know.

My 14 years wants to be a mechanic, he loves the game. He gives him a opportunity to work on cars without getting his hands dirty(lol).

My grandson who is 14 really loves this game. He was so happy it came out for xbox. He can sit there all day and play it.

I won't get my hands dirty fixing & rebuilding cars. Quite entertaining.
