Great movie and a fantastic performance by Al Pacino. Looks great on 4K.

This is definitely a movie to have in your collection!! A true classic. Great acting

Beautiful looking steelbook, love the artwork on this one, and this is an absolute classic of a film with great performances throughout. It was shipped and I received it very quickly from the time of ordering, and it came in perfect condition, very pleased with this purchase.

Carlito is a man of integrity. He gives his word and he sticks by it. He trusts those around him implicitly. After serving a long sentence upon his release he is determined to leave his previous life behind. When arriving "home" he receives word the local kingpin would like to speak to him. He receives the man's thanks for not turning on him making his sentence easier. He talks to his attorney played by Sean Penn (who should have at least been nominated for Best Supporting Actor) on what is next. He lands a job running a club. In course he meets Benny Blanco (marvelously played by John Legizuamo) an up and coming player. Seeking Carlito's wisdom he gets rebuffed thus starting a chain reaction. In the meantime Carlito fails to see his attorney Kleinfield has bitten off more than he can chew and is willing to do anything or throw anyone to the wolves to save his backside. Because he feels he owes the man he agrees to help him break out an organized crime figure out of Ryker's Island in order to save him from excecution due to his failure to pay a bribe to a witness testifying in his trial. Kleinfield doubles crosses the man and now Carlito not only has to deal with Benny Blanco he now has to deal with the mob. This was a modern day tragedy.

Great Movie - must have for the collection - Big Al Pacino fan

Who wouldn't want to see Al Pacino, Sean Penn and John Leguizamo in the same film together? Al Pacino stars as Carlito Brigante in this 1993 picture, involving the escapades of his sleazy lawyer played by Sean Penn. Penelope Ann Miller of such films as "Kindergarten Cop" and "The Shadow" also stars as the love interest to the title character. The 4k disc is a vast improvement over the Blu-ray for those who wish to upgrade.

Carlito's Way is in my top 20 of favorite films. It blew me away when I first saw it in 1993 and I quickly began watching as many Brian De Palma movies as I could find. I frequently come back to this movie more than some of his others. The SteelBook is nicely designed and the image quality is the best that I have seen it.

Outstanding steelbook! I am greatful it came dent and scratch free. The artwork on this one is really nice, and the movie looks and sounds good! If you have the 4K player and 4K TV with HDR, it's going to be fantastic as can be. We get the Blu-ray copy and digital copy as well.

Went 30 years without watching this. Never gave it a shot but had heard about it being good. Im glad I waited to see it for the first time on my Oled tv in 4k. Picture looks beautiful for its age. Colors are vibrant. Definitely a classic. Good story. Wish we had good movies like this in Hollywood still!

You think your big time, your going to get this movie in 4K big time. One of my favorite crime thrillers. Sean Penn and Al Pacino. Beautiful steelbook cover as well.

This is one of the masterpieces of Brian de Palma you must have in your video library. The movie is well directed and the cast is superb. You can’t even recognize Sean Penn in this movie who played the role of a crooked lawyer. Good movie to watch.

Al Pacino and Director Brian De Palma back again a decade after Scarface. Al plays Carlito who just got out of prison and wants to leave the gangster life. Best scene is a train ride from one station to another.

Pacino and Penn at their best. Awesome flick. I have enjoyed this one for years. So when the 4k version was offered, just had to have it. This one perhaps, besides Scarface is Pacino's best work. Colors for Penn, undoubtedly.

A classic Pacino film with a great transfer. I wish the Steelbook had the same artwork as the original poster but it’s pretty good anyways.

A great film. A classic Sean Penn role only made greater by his costars. A true underground classic that the modern generation deserves to see. Steelbook is excellent.

Outstanding cast of Al Pacino, Sean Penn and John Leguizamo. Great Hood Gangster Flick. Its right there with Scarface. Michael, Tony, and Carlos all pulled back in again!

Great movie. Very cool steelbook design. It arrived undamaged. Although USPS has taken up the habit of jamming fragile products into small mailboxes.

Decent picture and sound quality. The picture quality is a bit soft but I think this as good as it is going to get for this film. Recommended.
