Was so excited to see this come out on 4K. One of my all time favorite movies, now I can watch whenever I want in this great resolution.

Lovers Humphrey B. and Ingrid B. fall in love in Paris, lose each other in a war, find each in bar named Ricks in Casablanca, Morocco during the same war. She needs help to get her husband our of town before he's found and killed. Rick(HB) helps get a airplane for their escape. She (IB) gives Rick a final goodbye kiss before leaving, ending a beautiful heart felt emotional, 'I would die for you', relationship. Great romantic movie back in 1943. Great clear picture and sound quality in Blu-ray and 4K. This is one the greatest romantic stories ever told and a must have movie even today. So, grab some tissues.

Maybe the best film ever made, with the excellent B & W cinematography made all the better on this Ultra HD disc, played on a new Bravia OLED screen!

Warner Bros classic black & white film on a superb 4K UHD disc with excellent picture and sound and also the special features were all entertaining. Bogart, Bergman, Rains, Lorre, Greenstreet, Veidt, Henreid,and piano man Dooley Wilson lead Michael Curtiz directed film. Great actind and lines throughout.

Absolute classic & so glad Best Buy had this in 4K. Nothing new or different with this blu-ray in comparison to other "Casablanca" blu-ray releases through the years before today. But the 4K is absolutely stunning. Great picture and sound. Also, good for the pricing.

To be honest, had I owned this one on blu ray I probably wouldn't have gotten it. Looks amazing tho a little slim on the extras. Slipcover is a little uneventful. Overall is a great movie, this edition tho could've been treated with the care and respect a movie like this deserves.

Casablanca is just an extraordinary film, if I had to describe it in one word, it would have to be perfection! Im the type of person that hates seeing old/black and white films but def a masterpiece!

Humphrey Bogart is classic cool in this 1942 classic about an American nightclub owner in Casablanca. Bogart's character Rick Blaine, is attempting to help smuggle resistance leader Victor Laszlo out of Casablanca before the Germans take control of the city. Making things complicated, Laszlo's wife Ilsa turns out to be a woman Rick had been deeply in love with years before. Disc 1 is the 4k Ultra HD disc. Disc 2 is the 4k Blu-ray and includes special features such as trailers, outtakes, deleted scenes, retrospective featurettes featuring TCM's Michael Curtis and Bogart's wife Lauren Bacall.

Perfect movie. It has everything, romance, intrigue, espionage, and it's a buddy movie.

Love the 4k transfer of this movie, one of my favorite classics. Very happy with the purchase.

Casablanca is one of the great movies from the golden age of hollywood but it IS in black and white and it has next to no action, so you do have to think about that a bit if you're going to sit down and watch it. If you decide to, this is a fantastic 4k/Blu Ray presentation. The Blu Ray has been sold before, as it's the exact same disc 1 (of 2) that was sold in the 80th anniversary set. Same extras, transfer, everything. The 4K disc is where this 90th set REALLY shines. Film grain makes the movie feel like it was shot on movie but the detail, clarity and range of images between the light and the dark truly are outstanding and must be seen to be believed. Casablanca's cinematography has become rightly famous for its use of light and shadow and that has never been presented better than what is shown here. It really IS that good... Nice selection of extras, including a robust making of that will provide you much insight into the making of this film and how it wasn't expected to ever be a hit, let alone the cultural showcase it has become throughout its years. The package comes in a snap amray black case with a slipcover. There are two hubs for discs, one on each side. If you haven't purchased (or seen) casablanca before, this is a good set to have with a fantastic 4K and great Blu ray presentation. If you have the 80th anniversary set (which also came with an amazing WB documentary that goes for over 4 hours tracing the history of the studio), then be sure to have a 4K setup because that's the only thing in this set you don't already own. But outside of that consideration, this is a 4K/Blu Ray that deserves a spot in just about every movie aficionado's home video library.

Great quality print of a famous black and white movie but 4k is even better.
