Protects the Amazon Fire HD 8 Tablets wonderfully.

I really like the case! The Kindle snaps into the base where others have straps that hold it into place. The kindle will not fall out when held upside down. When you close the cover there is a strong magnet to ensure closure. The unit goes into sleep mode when closed too. Seems sturdy enough to last.

This case fits since it is made for the Kindle Fire. It allows the Kindle to stand either portrait or landscape with the fold out supports. Puts the Kindle to sleep when closed.

Only case available for kindle at store comparable to what we were exchanging at the time. There are really not any cases we could find in Best Buy that are kid proof so we were left with basically just a cover, if this kindle were for an adult it would serve its purpose, but not recommended for kids

I love this cover because it not only protects the screen, but, when I want to watch something hands-free, it stands up very well.

This is the perfect cover for the HD 8. It is slender, not bulky, and yet very tough. The cover is held either in place or held back magnetically and the case can support the tablet horizontally and vertically. Works great.

This is a very nice case. The magnet puts the Kindle to sleep when closed and wakes it up when opened. And the material and fit are top notch. BUT, I read with one hand, and it just wasn't comfortable to hold that way. The edge is "sharp". I ended up buying a TPU case so that the edges would be soft and rounded. However, now I have to manually wake and sleep the Kindle. It's not a huge deal, but the auto sleep and wake was very nice. If the designers of this thing read this, and they round out and smooth the edges, this would be a GREAT case!!! I give it 3 stars because I'm returning it, but saying "yes" to recommend because many of you would not hold it the way I do...

Fits just the way it is supposed to. I like that the interior part of the cover is not used as part of the bottom of the stand.
