For your typical drops sure it will work. But the case is not durable at all, from a long drop, it will definitely shatter the back of the phone, which is not plastic. Also it scratches super easily

We bought this phone case because it was the only one available for the Pixel 3 at the time. After just a couple of weeks the fabric that covers the case started fraying.

Cracked the corner of my pixel 3 using this case. Minimal protection. And fabric showed signs of wear after s like more than a week.

The case is not well made. Very flimsy and doesn't protect your phone, even when only dropped one foot from the ground.

This case was great at first but if you drop the phone the fabric tears up and looks really raggedy

I found it very thin and almost has a paper/cardboard feeling to it. A bit slippery too.

This case is slim. That's the only good thing. Texture is TERRIBLE for a case. It's slightly fabric-y, so you can't attach a pop socket and it slides right out of your hands. Returning it as soon as I get a replacement.

I used it for a day as it was the only one Best Buy had when I bought the phone. Better than nothing, but returned it when I bought a proper one.

It's very flimsy. Just about as good as not having a case. Glad I got it for free or I'd be upset even if I paid $1 for it

Like others have noted, the look of the case is great. Unlike other reviewers, I actually found the texture to provide enough grip. I am unsure how long the color will hold up but even plastic cases pick up grime fairly easy. My only real complaint is that the finger print cutout is a bit smaller than I am use to. I had another case with a larger cutout on my Pixel and it was easier to unlock with that one. I find myself moving my finger 1-2 before it gets a good read to unlock. It is very lightweight and definitely does not have reenforced corners. Worth the trade off for me.

The fabric texture is fabulous, this phone is Slippery without. The case works- Fits nicely, I have the Google Wireless charger and this case Does NOT interfere with it charging. The NOT SO PINK is more of a Coral Color

So what are you looking for? The White/Black/Not Pink just not fancy enough? Do you want something to protect against drops? Not this "case." Do you want something to change the feel of the phone? This case does it. This adds a texture feel to it and pretty good grip. I find the Pixel 3 feeling small in this case and I sometimes felt like I was dropping the phone. I have the gray and the blue and fits nice and snug. It wasn't till I put the otter box that I realized I might need to have better "protection." If you want just something to have style points when taking selfies, this is your case. If you want something to protect your investment, look for something else. :)

LOVE the fabric case! so pretty and feels so nice, and so thin!

Case looks great, feels amazing in your hands for the first few months. The cloth case looks really unique with it's woven pattern, highlighted lock button, and does not add too much bulk to the overall size of the phone. However, that's where the fun stops; as a case to protect your phone it's by far the worst I've ever used. After a while of sliding your phone in and out of your pocket, the cloth will wear and become slippery. Dirt accumulates and becomes kinda gross if not washed often ( easy soap wash once every week or two, depending how gnarly it gets). The only protection for the screen is the thin cloth and plastic , which again wears down as you use it. If you do drop the phone, chances are it'll flip on to the of the phone or on a corner, where the ground will cause the case to slip slightly and expose the glass edge, cracking your screen. I've got about four good spiderweb cracks now around the edges of the phone, so I've just about had it with this case. If you are tough on your phones, or don't intend on maintaining the case, you should pass. Otherwise, if you're looking for an aesthetically pleasing enclosure for your Pixel 3 and you don't really drop your phone too often, go for it.
