I have a DSLR with a long lens and this bag seems to be meant for my setup. It has a suspension system that cradles and cushions the camera and helps prevent it from being damaged through your average bumps and bangs. It’s not the roomiest bag for sure but it hauls my Nikon P600, charger and assorted little trinkets perfectly.

Very Nice Bag - But Tight for Full Frame DSLRS

This is definitely a very nice holster-style bag that has convenient storage pockets that will hold accessories, but I do not recommend it if you have a larger full frame DSLR body -- the outer appearance of the bag is a bit deceptive. It looked like it would easily hold my full-frame Nikon D600 camera with a standard (and short) 50mm lens, so I bought it for a trip I was about to take. Unfortunately, the inner dimensions of the bag were too snug and my camera body barely fit without forcing it in. I have owned this brand before and have always liked the quality of their bags, but this one didn't work for me. I recommend that if you're interested in this bag, take your camera/lens to the store and check the fit first. I am knocking off one star only because I think the bag's outer size is too large for what it actually holds.

This is the perfect camera bag for me. I have super-zoom DSLR and don't have to carry much extra stuff like lenses around with me so it's small size is a plus. It has a bit of room for small stuff but for its main task of holding and protecting my long lensed camera it's perfect. The camera goes in lens down and is held in place by a clever suspension system that snuggles it. Really. For a snouty camera it is a great case. Oh, and you might catch them on sale at Best Buy like some of us lucky souls!

Handy, functional, attractive DSLR holster case

I recently purchased a new DSLR camera with a zoom lens, and the case that came with the camera was bulky and too big for everyday use. I researched different camera holster cases that can accommodate the kit zoom lens, and found this Case Logic Kontrast case. It is just the right size for everyday use, and does not get in the way when taking photos or video. The Case Logic case is better than many others, because it has a suspension device, so the lens does not get jarred if the case is bumped. Case Logic also designed a hard, waterproof bottom so the case stands up. It has plenty of pockets to store an additional flash, extra batteries, the lens cap, an extra strap, and memory cards. And it is attractive, black nylon with lime green accent piping. I did not pay list price, as Best Buy matched a competitor's price for this case.

Bought this to carry my Sony a6300 with 18-105 zoom lens. Needed something that would provide good protection for travel, but be lightweight enough to carry. This case does that perfectly. Plenty of space for other accessories. Solid shoulder strap, no slip shoulder pad.

Overall I like this bag, loads camera with lens down so it is ready to go when you are ready to shoot. Good enough to protect a Canon 7D (without battery grip) with 24-70mm f/2.8L I attached. (Note: 7D fits in tightly. Now using bag with Canon T1i, with battery grip and 18-35mm lens both attached.) Nice bag as I used it on my travels to and around Hawaii. Has lots of zippered pockets: one inside and three outside (pockets held charger, extra batteries, memory cards, etc.). Has a hard protective base and thus provides a very stable form that stands up when placed on a table. Good protective case with padding, strong materials (nylon I think), smooth zippers, strong strap, and other hardware. Only missing a zipper flap cover for water protection on main compartment area. Color is black with green accents exterior, with a smooth light grey interior lining. Interior lens body catch holder good for smaller lens. For the price this is a very good product. Compare to other name brand camera bags at double or triple the price. One last thing, this bag made my travels easier with all the airline bag carry on restrictions. I had a large laptop backpack and this camera bag. Much easier to carry over my regular camera bag, making my travels better! Now just need to find a similar Case Logic bag for a Canon with both battery grip and lens attached!

Positives: - Well made - Hard bottom means the bag stays upright when set on flat surface - Nice suspension system supports camera - Plenty of pockets for cards, batteries etc. Negative: - Biggest negative is that it was too small for my Sony A77ii. Fortunately it fits my wife's Sony HX-400V perfectly.

This is a great bag for My DSLR. Many pockets for smaller items! And I love that it has hard plastic on the bottom so I know my camera would be protected if someone accidentally sets it down hard.

Purchased this case to store my Nikon 750. I really like the ruggedness and durability of the case. It is comfortable slung over the shoulder and easy to open. It has plenty of storage for quick day outings or to take to sporting events. Only downside, I have a 28-300 mm lens on my camera and it is a tight fit. It is still plenty protected, but I could see it wearing out the "hammock" lens holder quickly over time.

i really like this bag. it has plenty of room for extra stuff and my camera fits perfectly. i really like the cradle that keeps the lens from hitting bottom or the sides. my only gripe is that its really big and large to carry. but very good.

I bought an EF-S 18-200 IS lens, which is medium sized. I wanted a sling type bag that would hold this with my camera attached. I couldn’t decide what was best when looking online, so I went into the store and the choice became easy. The smaller bag wouldn’t fit my camera/lens combination. This bag has a little extra room, but I may eventually upgrade my T1i to a larger body anyway. Plus, this bag has a suspension system to hold the camera inside, plus a very well made, sturdy bottom, in case you ever drop it. I’m certain that my camera and lens are safe.

I use this case to carry my Sony RX10 IV. After removing the lens hammock, I can even store my RX10 with the lens hood in its normal working position. This lets me keep the camera ready to capture fleeting moments outdoors. The padding is impressive. I think my camera is as safe as it can be inside this case. I feel this case is the perfect companion for my Sony RX10.
