But if you have a black iPhone, like I do, it will look a very yellow gold and won’t change much from that. It does have good protection without being too bulky.

I always use the back as a quick mirror to check my face or hair. It's beautiful at first but scratches extremely easy. I have purchased 3 in total but only when on sale. My last case scratched on the first day just being in purse. I keep buying this case only for the mirror effect and have grown to accept the minor scratches and replace the case when they get too bad. It is not worth full price at all.
