I have watched this movie on DVD, Blu-ray and now 4K. This picture really pops on 4K. The many colorful outfits of DeNiro and the glittering lights of Las Vegas really makes this a must-have movie for your collection. Video and Audio top-notch.

Being a HUGE Las Vegas fan, the Steelbook art instantly made me buy this movie to watch in 4k vibrant colors. The sound has been improved but overall it’s a must have for those who love Las Vegas and the history of the time the movie took place!

Very good transfer. Much tighter and cleaner image than the bluray. As for sound, this is a dialogue heavy movie so you can't expect much of any bass response. But it is a clean spacious sound. Especially with the music. It's all around you

The 4k reviews of this transfer are on point - it's an amazing transfer and of this movie that was shot on film. A reference quality transfer, it looks superb in my home cinema from an Oppo 4k player to a 4k 75" tele. Flat out amazing!!

What if you were to go back in time before the mid 80s when Vegas got cleaned up and turned into a family vacation spot (well at least on the outside) and before the mob got kicked out? You would basically have the world of Martin Scorsese's Casino. Released in 1995 the movie was seen as a kind of pseudo-sequel to Goodfellas because DeNiro and Pesci reunited but it's a completely different movie. Although some similar camera and editing techniques are used Casino feels a lot more like an epic tragedy fueled by greed, lust, and the intoxication of power than a riveting, frenzied sprint through the life of a mobster and his rise and fall. So while Goodfellas is a classic Casino is a different film as evidenced by it's opening scene that employs a wonderful operatic track that's sets the tone of foreboding and how building a man-made paradise in the middle of the desert was always going to lead to painful consequences. The 4K presentation is completely true to the theatrical 35mm source with gorgeous lighting, a light layer of film grain, and lush, rich color. The lossless soundtrack does right by the classic 70s rock tracks, sound effects, and dialogue by providing true clarity and fidelity. In other words this is the dream version for fans of this film and Scorsese.

Any movies that have robert de niro is great, his work is excellent

This is a classic monster movie. I found the 4K picture format to be very good and sound was wonderful! Joe Pesci, Sharon Stone and Robert De Niro are AMAZING!! The supporting cast is equally good! One of my favorite movies!!

Buy this right now. It's 3 hours long and does not feel it at all. It's a must have for all film buffs, or anyone who enjoys mob films. The sound and picture quality are top notch, this is the definitive version to have.

Another epic movie just about as good as Goodfellas. This is the true story of how Las Vegas was built, run, and crumbled around the mafia’s control. Superb filming and acting. A movie for your movie collection.
