Casino Royale was the launch of a new era in the James Bond franchise and still one of my favorites. I can honestly say Casino Royale has never looked better, thanks to Dolby Vision, delivering an incredibly vibrant and vivid picture. If you are a fan of this series, the 4K UHD editions are a must.

I’ll admit I was first off put by a blonde Bond (don’t know why years later), but my curiosity got the best of me with the last (for now) Bond movie trailer came out. So I decided to give Daniel Craig a shot and watch him from Casino Royale to Skyfall. It’s not at all what I expected and was kinda in awe of this Bond’s performance. I loved the prequel angle with this and showing how he became 007. I ended up falling for this and Skyfall. Seeing it in 4K was just amaaazzzing!

This is definitely one of my favorite Bond films. I really like Daniel Craig as James Bond. He ranks just slightly behind Sean Connery as my favorite Bond. Great mixture of action sequences, love interests, story telling, and Bond gadgetry. Craig adds a great modern day look to Bond and provides a much more human interest side to him. A big thumbs up for this film.

Very good James Bond film. One of the best in the series. It almost rivals Skyfall. From the direction to the acting to the action to Daniel Craigs performance as 007. Everything was excellent. Can't give it a 10/10 because Skyfall is a little bit better with everything I just named above, but its by no means a movie you should sleep on. The opening chase scene on foot is GOLD. Highly recommended to anybody who hasn't seen it by now, and if you haven't, where have you been. GO WATCH IT!!!!!!

Daniel Craig does a fantastic job talking up the roll of James Bond. Lots of action, as you'd expect. I won't go into a breakdown of the film, as I'm sure most people looking to own this have already seen it. Definitely a film to add to your collection.

I think that "Casino Royale" was one of the greatest James Bond films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I have been a fan of the entire James Bond film series and these films all have a lot of enjoyable and entertaining action, mystery, suspense and drama including really great casts, plots and storylines as well.

Craig's first outing remains his best. It's a little big on the long side. The opening sequence with the foot chase on the crane remains the best scene of all of the Craig films, and the poker playing is still a lot of fun

This has been out for awhile, but here's a quick review. Pros: Classic Bond elements - fast cars; high-class locales; quick-witted, low key humor; and attractive women Cons: slow pace at times, making it easy for detached viewers to miss important plot points; as the main event, the high-stakes game at the title venue is well written and interesting, but for some, poker can only be so exciting. Conclusion: This one has classic elements, and Daniel Craig certainly brings his own style to the long-running franchise. Any fan can find something to enjoy in this film.

One of, if not the best James Bond movie, just before Skyfall. The movie doesn't look astonishing in 4K, but it still holds up to these years, and the extended edition has some minor scenes added. Definitely recommend it.

My second favorite Bond movie (behind Skyfall). A return to how Ian Fleming originally envisioned the character, this Bond has just earned his license to kill, and he's not afraid to get down and dirty to get the job done.

The picture and sound are great. The only down-fall---THEY''RE IS NO EXTENDED CUT OF THIS FILM. I went to the end credits and checked the running time on the blu=ray player. Both the 4-k and original blu=ray say 2 hours and 20 minutes. If they're was a longer cut, it would run longer than that. So the printing on the bottom of the blu-ray front cover is a mis-print.

Bond is back, a new fresh take closer to the books not since Dr. NO has there been this take on James Bond. Bonds first mission on the way to getting his 00. M is fantastic once again. Solid features and enough special content to keep you busy! Must buy Steelbook edition goes great with the other releases from Best Buy.

Blue Ray is the only way to view this action flick. It enhances the clarity of the fast movements during the action scenes. The landscapes are vivid and full of deep rich color. The story line is typical Bond; save the damsel in distress while getting all the bad guys. Overall a very pleasant viewing experience.

When in the movie James Bond said that playing poker wasn't about chance or skill. It was about who the better man was. I loved that part. This was my favorite James Bond movie yet. Daniel Craig played the best James Bond character in all the James Bond movies. You got to see this one if you haven't. Great villains too.

I have been eyeing these for a while now. They were sold out online but I found them in the store when they reopened after Covid 19. pick this one up at Best buy if you don't have it. SteelBook so no slipcover. 4k, Blu ray, digital

My favorite James Bond #007 movie with excellent action, strong plot and unbelievable scenes including an old building that sinks into the canal in Venice in the middle of a gunfight. Eva Green is believable as his future mate and the scenery of Italy as well as the Bahamas is stunning. Highly recommend.

Casino Royale is the start of the greatest Bond films ever! This movie introduces Craig as a straight to business agent and takes a grittier more grounded tone, much needed especially after how ridiculous the Brosnon films got.

My family loves the James Bond series. The whole series. We all have different faves when it comes to actors and films but we have fun watching them all. My wife thinks Daniel Craig is the best Bond and this is his best film in the series. A great movie. Eva Green is wonderful as Vesper.

Great movie. Starring an unknown actor to play James Bond. Nice to see that he proved the critics wrong. Due to action and violence recommended for mature audiences.
