If you are one of those "hard core" Bond fans then this is just not the movie for you. Definately not what Ian Flemming had in mind. That being said, This campy version of Casino Royale is a classic in the same genre as Monty Python. Nothing is sacred, No joke to corney to use. From the use of mutiple Bonds to the atomic bomb pill you never know which way this movie is going to twist. As in anyof the Bond films there is the ultimate final battle between good and evil. In this case it includes eveyr manner of non-politically correct sterotypical villians and good guys. My personal favorite is the Indians using teepees to parachute into the battle. So sit back, kick of your shoes and enjoy Bond as seen through the eyes of 1967 Hollywood. Don't for get your sunglasses!

I have always loved this movie, it's a tongue-in-cheek spoof of the rest of the James Bond series. The acting is sometimes a little put-on, but that's the whole idea here. From the Burt Bacharach soundtrack, to David Niven (as the "original" James Bond), Peter sellers, and the rest of the cast, it's just a lot of fun. The DVD also contains the original TV version of Casino Royale (which I had never seen) so it also managed to expand my horizons and add to my Bond collection. A must-have!!!
