Our daughter took her Privia digital piano with her when she moved out, so our son was really missing it. This is a huge upgrade in features and capabilities from the old one, but my main criteria was the weighted keys. They were such a great feature for our daughter when she was taking lessons. Going from her teacher's upright to home, the feel was perfect. This new piano is even better. Not having the room or budget for a real piano, this is really the next best thing and it looks great as well, very high quality construction and materials and it's great having a keyboard cover to keep the cat hair out. I don't know if we'll use all of the great features beyond tinkering around, but the piano sound is excellent. All of the sounds we've tried are great as well, but I know the piano sound is most important for most folks and this does not disappoint. It checks all of the boxes for beginners to advanced players and in between. If you need a piano this is an excellent choice, the closest you can get to the real thing in this price range, in my opinion.
