I loved this movie as kid so I was excited when it finally hit Blu-ray. If you didn't grow up watching it and you are an adult now, you might not like it. Great flick for kids though!

This is more a review of the disc's and packaging than of the movie itself. I already owned Casper on blu ray/digital, so when I bought this, it was more for the second disc with the old cartoons and movies. The main disc with the movie on it is your basic transfer. No title screen, just goes straight to the movie. The second disc, for some reason wouldn't play audio on my blu ray player but worked in my normal dvd player. Overall, if you already own the movie, I'd pass on buying this one. Unless you really want the steel book with the extra cartoons.

Great kids movie that the parents can enjoy as well. Glad to see my kids enjoyed it as much as I did as a child. Good quality and audio so nothing to complain about.

Great movie since I was a kid. Now my kids love it!!! They do say the b word though and my 6 year old was shocked that was in a kids movie!! He is really smart though!

Putting the fun back into pretend ! Ghosts can be sweet and funny ! Helps to stop the scare !

Even now that I'm well into my 30s with children of my own, I still watch this movie every time it's on TV. I couldn't pass up the bluray for such a cheap price.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was due to some extra grain in the picture. Otherwise, I'd definitely recommend this BD if you are a fan of James Horner's music, Stephen Spielberg's production and some nostalgia. The price is definitely right.

Neat to have this movie on Blu-ray, it’s a classic! Really feel letdown by the case. Pretty sure it’s just plastic? Was expecting metal. The hinge is neat but otherwise it feels cheap.

great movie filled w/ good effects. also it's interesting to see a young Christina Ricci as a teenager before Sleepy Hollow, very healthy looking kid back then.

Straight classic! I loved adding this to the collection and my 9 year old loved it, mission accomplished.

Bought for my niece for her birthday and she watched it when she was younger and she really liked it!

Casper was always one of my favorite spooky movies as a child. I'd forgotten that it had some language in it, so it may not be appropriate for younger kiddos, but still a good movie! Love that it came with the digital copy as well.
