I love this movie when i was a young now i have it on blu-ray

I forgot how good Casper was and the extras were a great bonus

Excellent movie, I was curious to see if it was available on Bluray and sure enough Best buy had it!!!!!!!! I am very excited to own it. When I was a kid this was one of my favorite movies and I can tell you right now that from VHS to DVD to Bluray format? Makes a huge difference in picture Quality. Get your copy before they are gone. I almost made the mistake with the Ace Ventura blurays. But I own those movies too.

It was a good price for a movie it is a good movie

5/5 stars for the movie, but 3/5 stars for the steelbook, which is what this review is for. I love the steelbook, but personally feel like they could've done something a little more creative. It's a nice addition to my collection, but with such a great movie with some great sets, particularly Whipstaff Manor, they could've done something really special with the steelbook artwork, and I feel like they missed just a little on this one.

I have the original Blu Ray verison on Casper the friendly ghost. This steelbook 25th anniversary edition is really nice. The art work on both the outside and inside of the steelbook are really excellent. The store is very well done, and Cristina Ricci is a great young actress at 15. The CGI graphics are very well

I remember this being classic halloween movie for me as a kid. I purchased this movie with the intention of sharing the tradition with my kids. It is still an amazing movie but they have the "b" word in it a couple of times. I just found it a bit unnecessary. It wouldn't deter me from buying it I guess as I was a child and don't remember it being so vulgar, but it's good to know before you buy. It does have the PG rating, so there is fair warning... but so do other disney classics like Frozen and there isn't offensive language. Great movie, just want to disclose for other parents.

This is a good family movie that everyone would love to watch.

This movie is targeted (of course) at the young generation but the plot is kind of catchy in that the young ghost (Casper, of course) allows himself to be constantly taken advantage of by three older (and Mean, Bullying) Ghosts. A young Father with his Very young Daughter have to move into the old Mansion where Casper lives as a condition of Dad's employment ! Complications start then & don't stop for the rest of the film ! Humor, some Sadness, a lot of Joy at places ! Good Flick for Mixed Ages !

Classic Halloween movie. I grew up with this movie and my kids never watched it, so I had to get it. It will now be one of the movies we watch around Halloween every year. Couldn't find this movie to watch on any of my streaming services, picked up the Blu Ray with Digital Copy.

Casper [25th Anniversary Edition] [SteelBook] brings the film on Blu Ray inside a very nice Steelbook case. Also includes a second disc with additional animated adventures of the Friendly Ghost. The collection has great value for fans of the film or character. Highly recommended.

I bought the casper movie for me and my granddaughter for movie day and her birthday she happened to watch with me one day and she like it and wants to watch it again & the the movie is one of my wife's favorite and that's for our movie date night one to watch

I think that "Casper" was one of the greatest films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite films of all-time. I have seen and enjoyed "Casper" several times and I also think that "Casper" had a lot of entertaining, exciting and enjoyable action and humor including amazing and original personal storylines.

has been a great year for classic 90s nostalgia films on blu ray this year. as an upgrade from years of vhs and dvd, it's worth every penny. the soundtrack in particular with the most obvious oomph, though the picture is as beautiful as one would hope. and with all previous features ported over, you can't go wrong with this purchase.
