Buy this cd if you like country music, Don, Eagle.

DON HENLEY IS GREAT ALL OF THE DUETS ARE WONDERFUL

Any Eagles or Don Henley fan will appreciate this.

This CD fell short of what I hoped it would be. It was still enjoyable, Don Henely has an amazing voice.

Overall, I think this was a decent effort for Don Henley. Not great, but not bad.

I've been a fan of Don Henley since his days with the Eagles, and while he's always had a bit of country influence, I have never considered him a country singer... Until now. This album is pure country, and I don't mean modern country that's pretty much just rock, I mean old-school country. Almost every song is a sad ballad or a duet with, someone I only assume is some famous country star I've never heard of. Or both. Now maybe it's good country, I don't know because, honestly, I'm not a fan of this kind of music, and I find it annoying when artists I've followed and enjoyed most of my life suddenly do something completely different. If you're looking for classic Don Henley, don't bother with this one. Like me, you will be disappointed.

This is like the OLD best COUNTRY! The Eagles were actually just the modern LA sound of country, so no surprise should be here. A FEW songs could have been Eagles tunes but most hark back to the time when the country masters were at their best. A couple of these songs should go down as classic country hits! Highly recommended except for maybe two songs that do not fit any format. I love the Eagles and I can't quit playing this CD!

This is a really good album of cover songs that Don Henley probably knew as originals when he grew up and he covers the material well.

If you like the Eagles, this may be more country than you are used to... on the other hand, if you like Henley, you'll dig this release.

We're big fans of Don Henley and we were not disappointed with this solo album. Most of the songs have a country influence. Although we're not country music fans, we enjoy the music on this album a lot.

Good selection of guest artist on this album. Listen to this during my long road trips.
