Part of the unofficial Stewart Gordon "trilogy" along with Re-Animator and From Beyond. This one also stars Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton, but it doesn't get the love it deserves because it's so dark and humorless. And no, it's not as fun or wild a ride as its predecessors, but it's a darn good movie.

For a cheesy B movie this film rocks

This movie is a serious 90's gem. The freak’s face is truly disturbing and Jeffrey Combs performance is stellar. And as if that wasn't enough, the freak runs around naked with his junk missing for the entire movie. I'm not kidding.
I mean the movie is definitely a cheese fest but with a film like Castle Freak I think that's besides the point. I would definitely recommend this title to anyone, especially young, impressionable children.
