Great show. the disks I purchased from Best Buy work perfectly. The one I bought off Amazon (new) was poorly cut. the edges of the disk were so rough my Blue Ray player wouldn't play them. I had to use a computer which used the center to spin the disk.

Season 8, what can I say the culmination of the show. I wish there was more behind the scenes stuff, I wish there was a longer alternate ending, I wish the show didn't end. To put it lightly this was my favorite show on television I can watch it over and over again and always be entertained. I am sad Caskett is forever riding in the sunset now!!!!

I watched this show from the beginning to end. In my opinion I wanted the show to last longer but it ended in a good way. I will not give away anything at all except for this show to as good when the two stars hate each other is impressive.

The final season of a TV series that was both dramatic, mysterious and comical throughout its run. The end of a great TV series. Wish it hadn't ended. This release is just as good as previous ones. Clear and crisp images and sound for DVDs. Wish the series had made it to Blu-ray.

This is the last season of Castle on TV and it still had some excellent episodes that kept my wife and I captivated. Warning: the final final episode was a shocker and the little after scene was just too short. still, we were glad to have seen it. Castle fans, buy this set of DVDs!

In its 8th season, it could have had another season or two, but this was probably wiser: it ended while you still wanted it to go on for more seasons. The actor and actress did carry the show well and were very satisfactory. AND, it had a good series finale, very happy with that!

I've watched every episode in the series many times.The last season is no exception. My biggest beef with the shows executives is that the final episode was so poorly thought out. All of the shows loyal fan base deserved a much better end to a fine series!! ABC-Shame on YOU! !

Love having the ability to watch my favorite shows on the go and enjoy them with family and friends. Perfect gift during Christmas for a close friend and her family. Each year, I add to the collection and our kids and grandkids can sit and watch. Perfect price point, too.

I had to have the final season of Castle to complete the whole set. This has been one of my favorite shows from the first season on. Terrific writing, believable characters and stories to keep you coming back for more. So sorry they chose to end it.

I will miss watching this show every week that we have enjoyed for the past decade. But they have decided to bring to an end this successful crime show. I think it could have finished better in the final episode but still a great season overall.

As a long time follower of this show I was unhappy with them ending the series. I really enjoyed watching Castle and Beckett develop into life partners. But the final season did not disappoint. All new ideas of cases. And the cast supports itself.

Like any series, the quality seems to fade over the life of the show. No difference here. The first six seasons were interesting and fun watching the two (Richard and Kate) spar with each other as they solved crimes. Unfortunately, someone decided that there would be a theme for each season in addition to the arc over each show/season of who killed Kate's mother. The show lost it's steam after Rick disappeared after the wedding and the "heat" between the characters faded. The eighth season was the worst as the writers sped up to resolve all the issues knowing that the show might not have a ninth season. When Stana Katic's contract wasn't renewed, the show was doomed and they came up with numerous hours of drivel. To tie up the show, they flashed a scene at the end which supposedly gives us a window on the main characters' future. Not convincing.

Castle has it all. There is romance, action, mystery and humor. Mabey even a little tong and cheek. Picture quality is good to very good. Color, clarity and detail are all above average. This is what television programming should be!

I have always enjoyed this show. It is just a little sad it is over. The final season was well done and fun. My only complaint was the ending felt tacked on some. The quality of the DVD's themselves are great, from picture to sound.

Partner needed this to complete collection. Made for a convienant Xmas gift. Price was slightly higher that another chain store, but that store did not have it in stock. BB had plenty of copies so made it easy to pick and purchase.

My wife loves the Castle series and has the other seasons. It was understandable that she wanted to be one of the first in line when the eighth season became available. Where is the best place to buy your c.d.s. Best Buy of course.

I order a lot of dvds on line and I am always amazed at how fast I receive them. while some of the older movies I want are not available they still have a good selection. I will continue to order from Best Buy.

The final ending of "Castle" came as a surprise to the show people, it may have also been such for the DVD producers. Aside from the episodes you have small expected features (bloopers, a few commentaries & lost scenes). The only big one is of the cast playing one of those 'locked mystery room' kind of live-action games together. It is okay as a quiet sendoff for the show.

I have all eight seasons. The cast has great chemistry and the quick barbs back and forth and facial expressions make it a fun show.

season 8 of castle,was great,it started to get back to basics,like when the show started,stories were good,action and comedy excellent,only problem with it...IT WAS THE LAST SEASON...shame on ABC for cancelling a good show
