This is a fun show. I watch strictly for entertainment because I like crime shows. It's much more "light" than others I really like, but if you don't want to think too hard, you want your protagonist(s) to be big on one-liners, you want a male/female partner love-interest, and you don't mind that the solutions to the crimes are too often dues ex machina in form, it's ok. The relationship between the two protagonists is a bit unrealistic in how easy she forgives him.

DVD's shipped to my house in a timely manner and were in fantastic shape. Of course, the tv series has been great as well. I definitely recommend. I have been slowly making my way through them all. It's two bad that this season was only ten episodes for the pilot season.

Love Nathan Fillion, and love this show. Great humor, nice in-references to geek culture here and there. Good characters (nothing new or innovative, but familiar at least). Typical crime show with a better sense of humor than most, without trying to be strictly a comedy.

We missed jumping into this series when it first came out. Nathan Fillion was already one of our favorites and Castle is perfect for his smart and funny personality. We are looking forward to watching everything in this season and then ordering the other seasons.

I love this show. Since firefly I've waited for him to return to tv. Nathan fillion rocks. I've loved this show since it first aired. Great cast including the hot and talented stana katic. Funny, witty and cool. Great show for everyone.

I have enjoyed Nathan Fillion's acting since Firefly. And he is just as hilarious in Castle. I have also enjoyed the Firefly references throughout the seasons. The characters play off each other and are so fun to watch.

This was the first, somewhat abbreviated, season of Castle. Castle hadn't quite hit its stride yet when this show started, and the first few episodes aren't as good as later episodes. However, by the end of the season, the actors and writers have gotten the feel of the characters and the show. Seasons 2-4 are even better, so stick with the series.

This show is just great. Even if you don't like crime procedurals, this show will appeal to you. The chemistry between Nathan Fillion and everyone else, namely Stana Katic, is spectacular.

Just started watching re-runs of Season 4 and 5 on TV. Was interested in seeing how it all started. Has developed into quite a series. Definitely a must have if you haven't seen the show from the beginning.

Bought this as a birthday present for our daughter. She started watching newer episodes and was "hooked" on the series. We were tickled to find all the seasons available, but especially Season One.

I have been looking for the early seasons of Castle. I was so excited to see that it was available in the store. Castle is a funny and entertaining show that never disappoints.

Nathan Fillion impressed the world on firefly, and proves his versatility in this cop drama. This has love, action, twists, comedy, and a fantastic meta narrative.

Its not Firefly, but it is nice to see familiar characters occasionally make appearances and the great number of allusions to the show are pleasant as well.

Great show!! Picks up right where season 1 stopped. Chemistry between Castle and Beckett is developing well! Can't wait to watch the complete season.

This show is a must have for any mystery buff. The plot lines and mysteries are well written and leaves even the most experienced crime solver guessing.

It's not really fair for me to write a review on Castle DVDs - as it is one of my favorite shows. It was on sale for the best price I'd seen!

I love this show & now my daughter is addicted to it. She's collecting all the seasons & obsessed with Castle! Love Love Love Castle!

Castle is probably one of the best shows on tv. I saw reruns and had to start from the very beginning. I plan on getting the rest if the seasons.

I have always liked this series but I never had the chance to see the very first season so when I saw the DVDs I purchased it
