How did I miss this series when I came out? So much delirious, silly fun that was deceptively funny - when they dropped a bomb it hurt for all the wisecracking. A great season of a great show.

The Castle Season 6 DVD set is perfect for fans of the show who want to watch or re-watch all the episodes of the sixth season. The set also includes great extra features that fans will love.

Season five picked right up where we left off, Castle on one knee and Beckett in open-mouthed shock. The season had lots of moments for long-time fans to enjoy and plenty to lock in new viewers too. Not every episode is a winner, but let's face it, they can't please us all! The bonus features with the DVD set really deliver though. There's a lookback at past seasons where each of the cast members (except Stana) and show creators Andrew Marlowe and Terri Edda Miller reminisce on their favorite moments and character developments as the show has progressed. To make up for Stana's absence in this piece, there's a short "On Location with Stana" piece that follows the actress on set as they prepared to shoot the wedding scenes for the season finale (this short was filmed by Mark Polish with whom Stana costarred in "For Lovers Only" - an excellent film by the Polish brothers, also highly recommended!). The audio commentaries got a new spin by including some character commentary from Detectives Ryan and Esposito. Who doesn't love a little extra bromance? Extended and deleted scenes add a little extra to episodes we're already familiar with, and the bloopers are always fun, giving viewers great appreciation not only for the hard work that goes into making this show but also for just how much fun the cast and crew have while filming. Overall, B+ for the regular season and a solid A for the bonus features.

Castle's sixth season was amazing and hilarious! I definitely recommend this DVD! You will love it!

Castle is a funny and witty show, keeps me coming back for more.

I have been a fan of Castle since it first aired and I never miss an episode. This season was chock full of surprises and it was such a pleasure to relive all the adventures that occurred this season. I think Castle has some of the best writers on tv and I am never disappointed in this show. I love the way they have fleshed out the characters over the years and they continue to do so this season. The season 6 cliffhanger was a stunner! I highly recommend this collection. Buy it, even if you have seen all the episodes because you will be surprised at some things you missed when viewing it the first time.

A solid season for Castle, actually all seasons up until the last season are enjoyable. Too many compromises made in the last season for me (Season 8). Season 7 ends with Hollanders Woods, and the main characters are all sitting at a table when Castle wins an award. The season ends with Beckett getting a phone call and saying there has been a murder, the team gets up and exits the room. A perfectly fine ending for the series. I will enjoy seasons 1-7 again and again over the years. Perfectly happy to forget 8 even exists.

This season of Castle had some of its best work with few down notes. The 'Caskett' wedding was threaded pretty well through the whole thing, never dominating until it was expected to in the season finale. Storylines from the past like 3XK and Senator Bracken give very gripping and tense stories, but it also felt like the writers turned up the comedy element again. Each disc on the set included a handful of deleted scenes and commentary options. The final disc also had some behind the scenes featurettes.

My only issue in general is the lack of any Blu-ray versions of this show. What you get on the DVD set is great, though. The behind-the-scenes and special features are always excellent w/ the Castle seasons but especially on this season 6 set. If you are a fan of this show, you will love it. If you're not a fan, get the series from the beginning and you'll be hooked by the end of the second episode of the first season.

I am very biased in this area, as Castle is one of my favorite shows on television. But you just cannot go wrong with this show in my opinion. From the amazing actors and writers to actually watching all the storylines play out, it is just an excellent mix. This show has everything: drama, comedy, action, and romance!! And all of the extras on the dvds don't hurt either ;) Definitely recommended for people to watch.

This season didn't start off as strong as previous seasons. But the writers quickly fixed this issue. Though the season opener and next few episodes weren't strong Castle episodes I applaud the writers and actors for getting out of their comfort zones and trying something new. The continuing 3XK story arch episodes are always some of my favorites. As well as the episodes relating to Beckett's mother's murder. I love how the relational dynamic continues to evolve between Casket and how they handle the ups and downs of being in a relationship, planning a wedding, and other life drama we as viewers handle in our daily lives. The chemistry between Nathan and Stana make this show enjoyable and worth watching. Plus Stana Katic is freak in gorgeous. For me that's enough.

I really hated to see this show end, as it has been continuous relaxing T.V., that I have enjoyed. This is a more wholesome crime series, with its' humor and characters.. It is more suitable for children to watch with their parents. It makes a refreshing change from the more violent and dark shows. I would recommend this and other seasons of Castle, as I have enjoyed them all!

I think that "Castle: The Complete Sixth Season" was once again one of the greatest seasons of "Castle" of all-time and "Castle" was also one of my favorite series of all-time. I also think that "Castle" had a lot of entertaining and enjoyable action, mystery, suspense, drama and humor including a really great and amazing cast and personal storylines as well.

I started buying TV series when they came in big bulky sets, some still come in terrible packaging made of cardboard or cheap plastic. Here, the complete season comes in a standard size DVD case which will last and protect your discs for years of watching. I love the series, so if you are reading this and are not familiar with it, buy season 1 and get hooked!!

I LOVE CASTLE! I had previously purchased this season but alas one disc was scratched, but Best Buy was amazing and got me a replacement lickity split. Of course this means I have to watch season 6 all over again to make sure it's filly functioning. How awful right←sarcasm ;-) Just need popcorn and I'm all set. Thanks Best Buy!

I have been a fan of Castle for a while now and I own all the seasons on DVD. It was great to be able to add season 6 to my collection. I never get tired of watching the episodes over and over again, and there are great bonus features! The bloopers always make me laugh and I cannot get enough of all the deleted scenes. Highly recommended for Castle fans!

I was so excited to see season 6 finally come to DVD, and couldn't have been happier, (unless it would've been available on Bluray with a digital copy, lol) Now I finally have the latest 23 episodes to watch at my leisure, and loved the bonus features that were included, especially the Karaoke and the bloopers! A must buy for a true Castle fan.

The purchase of this season of Castle was quick and easy. Castle is a crime-comedy series with one hour episodes. Castle is a mystery novelist that pals around with an attractive NY City murder detective. The series includes romantic twists as well as interesting investigative snags that keeps each murder episode fresh and fun to watch.
