    This is the soundtrack for a quirky movie and I really like the alternate (original?) version of Cat People, even though the Stevie Ray Vaughan version on Let's Dance still takes the prize. The rest is fairly standard soundtrack fare that I listen to at work - good stuff.

    Sometimes it seems the soundtrack bests the movie while other times, the opposite holds true............this is one of those occasions where they complement each other perfectly in size and scope. This CD holds up well for those who don't even know the film! The intensity of the tracks found herein could be enjoyed by fans of genre music, add a killer single from Mr David Bowie............Putting Out Fire (With Gasoline), and folks you got one killer CD! A must have for soundtrack purists............highly recommended!
