There is a design flaw in this watch case. There is a small screw that keeps the top of the case attached to the base and watch band. If any slight pressure is applied to the watch case on the opposite side of the screw location (side opposite to where the watch dial and button are located), then the plastic that surrounds the screw will break. This will cause the top of the case to come off and the watch to fall out. So, don't stick you hand into a tight area where pressure could be applied to the watch case when you pull your hand out. The company does have a replacement policy, but you do need to keep your original store or online receipt as proof of when you purchased the item. For what it's worth, this is the most protective case that I have found for this watch. But, if they could fix the flaw or if another company came out with a great protective case, I'd purchase that update or case instead of this one.

I bought the Apple Series 2 watch and band/case about 18 months ago. The case had been working great, protecting my watch from scratches and major damage. I’m not too rough on my watch. I wear it everyday and run and swim with it almost everyday. Last week while walking onto an airplane, my watch just fell out of the case. I didn’t hit it on anything, didn’t bang it up against anything, and didn’t jar it at all. It just popped out. I didn’t even notice that it had fallen out. My daughter noticed it lying on the floor and asked me if it was mine. At first I said no because my band was still on my wrist but after looking at it, I saw the watch was gone! Upon closer inspection, I saw that the case cracked right where the housing for the screw was located. I had only tightened the screw once, when I initially put the case together, and had not made any adjustments since then. I contacted Catalyst and they wanted me to provide the original receipt (which I didn’t have), and they said the warranty was only good for a year. Since I had bought the case more than a year ago they offered to sell me another one at a discounted price. No thank you!! They should have replaced it for free in my opinion. Who keeps a watch for less than a year?

Good for waterproof feature. Will not allow watch to charge.

I bought this for my husband because he was worried about wearing his watch to work. He has worn it everyday for almost a year and it has held up well! It has some wear and tear, but still protective and wearable.

this is a great product. i've hit this thing on everything known to man, have scuffs all over it and it's still holding up. this thing has been in turn out gear, under water, hit by the hose and is still maintaining my watch amazingly.

Needed protection for my Apple Watch and this did the trick. Gives it the feel of wearing a gshock.

This watch case is durable and with stands anything basically.

Have always used this band and case but unfortunately I’ve been through 3 since June. Each one has broke around the screw area. Only issues with the Apple Watch 3. Not one issue with the Apple Watch 2, still in use by my son. Also, must only use Apple charger, Due to the rubber waterproof over the charger.

My husband absolutely loves this case. He has had a few drops and it kept his watch safe! Don’t forget to buy a screen protector it does have raised sides but falling face first into a pointy rock could be tragic!

This case will protect the watch if you work in a tough work inviroment. I like the screen protector because it doesn’t scratch easily. The band is a soft rubbert material. Great case to protect the apple watch.

It protects my watch and snugs it just enough where I'm not afraid to bump into things

L i'm not saying that the product is bad because it's not so far it has protected my Apple Watch as very best as it can I'm very glad on that the only thing I wish it had is a glass or cover protector for the front of the watch but it's okay I know eventually they'll have one. So if you are looking for quick protection I would recommend this one. I work in the restaurant industry so my watch gets its fair share of bangs.

Extra protection for deep water diving. Made of sturdy materials. Built well.
