Based on a true story, Catch Me If You Can is one of Spielberg's best movies, which is saying something for the highly acclaimed director. Highly recommended!

Great movie at a great price! Best Buy had it for more than 50% off for a Deal of the Day special that celebrated Leonardo DiCaprio's birthday! Plus, I needed to upgrade this from my old DVD copy anyway... so, this was I deal I couldn't pass up! Highly recommended Spielberg/Hanks classic. You've also got Christopher Walken thrown in to the mix as well, which NEVER hurts a movie!

Someone sat down while writing this movie. And in pretty sure they imagined Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio while writing it. I mean he put the main actor from "saving private ryan" and "Forrest gump" and put him in the same room with the guy that has made SO MANY good movies as well. Love this movie.

Fun story, you can watch the actual Frank Abignale Jr. speak about securities fraud on the web. He's a fascinating person and Spielberg's attention to detail in recreating dialogue and moments from the govt agents hand written notes gives the movie moments of authenticity.

Loved this movie, especially when Tom Hanks played the role as an FBI investigator to catch Frank Abagnale (Leonardo di Caprio) acting as the cons. Very thrilling & good story movie that directed by Steven Spielberg.

“Catch Me If You Can” is one for the best films of its kind. Great performances and stunning director make this one of the best films to feature such an acclaimed cast and filmmakers.

From a cinematic/story-telling perspective, I consider this a fascinating movie. The story is based on the late teen years of Frank Abagnale, who committed check fraud to an incredible degree and kept taking on different false identities and jobs around the U.S. It must have been quite a challenge to put this remarkable story into a movie format. Though I wanted to see more of the complex details of how he pulled off his impersonations, I think that would have been very hard to do and still keep the movie flowing quickly. There are many suspenseful moments and a lot of interesting tension in the relationships Frank has with his family, girlfriends, employers and fellow employees, and with his FBI nemesis (Tom Hanks). I like it that director Spielberg used the symbolism of a tumbling washer at a laundromat to signify a love affair Frank is having, rather than nudity. The movie did not need all the bad language, though (which is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5). The irony is excellent at the end when Frank gets out of prison by working for the FBI in the department of "check fraud", and you see him through the window blinds, sitting in an office, the prison he's created for himself! I also like Christopher Walken's performance as Frank's father.

This is one of the greatest movies. Such a good acting for both dicaprio and tom hanks. If you buy it, you’re not gonna regret

I love this movie. Great true story. Price was right and Blue ray is the way to go. Amazing picture quality.
