I am thoroughly pleased with this purchase. I have seen CATS onstage three times. I first bought this on VHS tape when it first came out. With a newer TV I can no longer connect my VCR to it. I recently watched the 2019 movie version of CATS, and thoroughly hated it, which prompted me to get this far superior version ASAP. Video and audio quality are superb, and I love the making-of feature with comments from many of the performers, producers and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber and choreographer Gillian Lynne. Also has the memorable makeups and costumes of each distinct cat character, unlike the movie, where you could hardly tell one performer from another. If the movie left you cold and unsatisfied, get this version and appreciate just what a fantastic piece of musical theater this was and still is.

I own this DVD and purchased a copy to give as a gift.

A wonderful addition to any Blu-ray movie collection.

I'd seen the stage play in 1984 and when I saw this on DVD, I had to have it. Cats was adapted from T. S. Elliot's book Old Possums book of Practical Cats and when Disney studios wanted the rights to his creation, he refused them. The human actors were different than in the state production, but the catacters (sic) were the same and showed off their fursonalities (sic). If you are a cat person, I highly recommend it. The title is from one of the songs.

This popular musical, turned film, is a sure fire hit! I selected it as a special birthday gift for my friend. We threw her a CAT themed party while making the viewing of this amazing film the centerpiece. The singing, acting, setting, costumes, and directing are outstanding! I highly recommend this timeless and priceless gem. BRAVO!

I worked at the Forrest Theatre when Cats came to Philly. This filmed version of the stage musical is a worthy production that shows all of the dancing and singing of the stage version. Of course now it's all we have to remind us of how wonderful this show is! The blu-ray adds to the beauty of the costumes and the make-up in the close-ups of the actor's faces.

I love Cats so much that I just had to buy the DVD. I first saw the show aboard a cruise ship and I was instantly in love! The only downside to the DVD is that they cut out Growltiger's Revenge, but other than that, this production of Cats was amazing!

My family has enjoyed this musical for many years. Our granddaughter went to college this year and wanted a copy to show her friends. They seemed to be pleasingly impressed as we have been these many years.

Be advised that this BluRay is the original London Musical and not the movie released in 2019. If you love the soundtrack than this is the companion blu ray.

Had a VHS version of CATS and wanted a DVD version. Received by mail in excellent condition.

This is a great movie if you like musicals. Elaine Paige's singing of the tune Memory is the best.
