Great leading lady in this wartime historical drama.

This very early film will not entertain anyone looking for a fast=paced action movie. Yet, if you enjoy the PBS British shows this movie is for you. Keep in mind you are watching a 1933 movie and you should appreciate some fine acting as you follow two families as they migrate through the early 20th century. If you are interested in history you will be entertained.

Best picture winner at the Oscar. Worth collecting

Cavalcade is one of the many films of it’s decade and generation - telling the story of family through time and history. It’s a beautifully told tale and a good movie to see at least once.

This was a Best Picture winner and it was for all the right reasons! Maybe not one of the best films ever made but it was still an incredible story!

Though it's definitely of it's time, this Best Picture Oscar winner adaptation of Noel Coward's equivalent of Welles' "Magnificent Ambersons" is classy and moving.

Terrific screenplay and wonderful acting by entire cast. Story flows well.

Cavalcade is a great early classic from 1933. It won the best picture Oscar. It’s worth getting this Blu-ray.

Blu ray is truly a great upgrade from DVD. And with great prices it makes the upgrade even more worth it!

I would have scored you higher, but at the final stage of ordering, your system froze on me, looking like my order hadn't gone through. So I went through the ordering process again, with that I ended with two copies of this movie, which I really don't need.

is this one of the great movies? for the time...yeah...but anymore it's a bit of a slog to get through. certainly impressive, but a product of the time. tough to think about repeat viewings.

I'm a huge fan of classic movies and snapped up Cavalcade when I saw it at Best Buy. It actually won Academy Awards? This movie proves that just because a film is old doesn't mean it's a classic. This was one of the dullest films I have ever seen and the performances were horrible for any era of filmmaking. If you like classic movies and you run into a copy of Cavalcade you may be tempted to get it. DON'T DO IT!
