    Not for kids and not about the Times Square festival - this is a raw, stripped down, and non-PC version of the beginnings of the American punk phenomenon - and so much more. The MTV generation may just get a pleasant surprise. Watch the movie and read Wiki about the legend of Hilly Kristal and the original CBGB. There's fun and tears and lots of 'eww' and 'wow' moments. It might not win Oscars or any awards, but it should win a place on your shelf and in your heart.

    Had the potential to be an amazing movie. Great story. Wish they had spent more time with with the Ramones and less with the Dead Boys. Loved seeing seeing the real Hilly during the closing credits.

    Great movie. Wish I saw it at the theatres. More movies like this need to be made. Alan Rickman gives a great performance.

    I like buying movies from best buy. This particular movie tells the story of cbgbs the club in New York City. This is a very funny movie. It tells the history of the club from beginning to end.
