    This unit is easy to install. Very straightforward. Do not be dissuaded by other reviewers writing out of frustration. I don't normally review products but I enjoyed the simplicity of the install and the immediate benefit of fresh, cool air. I bought this during allergy season while fighting a nasty bought of bronchitis and was trying to purify the air inside my 400 sq. ft. apartment. Within 20 minutes the temperature of my apartment dropped 2 degrees and was well on it's on to cooling. The compressor noise is minimal. Perfect white noise. It sounded like I was sleeping in a hotel room. I woke up in the middle of the night and the room was freezing. Bang for the buck this is a great product. So far, so good. I would highly recommend and definitely buy again if I get a nice life from this unit. Stay cool everyone
