This game is one word beautiful. A very fun platform / puzzle game. Added to a wonderful story to it. I hardly recommend this game before it sells out. I wish I would have bought the collector's edition on limited run website. This is a must have on your Nintendo switch.

I bought this game because i wanted to break away from the modern Games i usually play Its a very simple yet complicated platformer. Celeste was highly reviewed or recommended in 2018 i believe and when i found out it was on the switch i thought hey i can check this game out and on the go Ive given it 4 stars just because i haven't passed it but ill get there :)

After reading A LOT about how great Celeste was, I had to see if it lived up to the hype. I'm happy to say the critics were not wrong. Celeste is fantastic. The story is okay, revolving around a girl named Madeline who is climbing a mountain, which is a metaphor for her struggle with depression. However the game play is the main draw for me. The platforming will challenge even veteran gamers, and like the struggle of climbing the mountain, you too will struggle getting through each stage, but get a little better each time, and it feels really rewarding when you do. I ended up finishing the main game, collecting all the non-golden strawberries hidden in each level, and tackling all the B-Side and C-Side versions of each stage. I'm currently on the last screen of the Farewell DLC. Celeste is now one of my longest played games on the Switch, and I highly recommend it. Casual gamers have a few options to make the game easier, but otherwise it might frustrate them, so I would only recommend this to skilled gamers.

Intense and challenging gameplay. Great storytelling and sense of achievement when completing the game.

This game a an unbelievable platformer. It’s unique, has a great story, and can be extremely difficult. It really does feel like a great accomplishment completing the game, just like climbing a mountain.

'Celeste' is a lovely callback to the days of 'NES- Hard' games, with an easy-to-learn and hard-to-master challenge that hits home and links very well with it's story based on anxiety, depression and self-confidence. Highly comes recommended!

One of the most challenging games I've ever played but so satisfying each time you beat a level.

I purchased the game digitally, and couldn’t resist having the game physically as well. This is a hard as nails game, but so rewarding to beat those difficult areas. Wonderfully perfect story. The game is truly a masterpiece.

Difficult but fair. The artstyle is adorable and comes with a little instruction book inside the case. Really happy after finding out I could buy limitedrun games at bestbuy. I already have the game on ps4 but wanted a physical copy. Best 2d platformer I've played so far.

Great game. Best 2D platformer I've played I think. Feels very good to finally beat every area as the controls are tight and checkpoints are frequent. Very challenging however, which was a plus for me, but may not be for others.

If you're even a slight fan of platforming games like Mario or Meatboy, you need to pick this up. Best-feeling movement of any game I've played, amazingly positive tone, and the underlying story about mental health is something more people should experience. Can't recommend this game enough on any platform!

This is hands down one of my favorite games. The soundtrack is absolutely amazing. The gameplay is fun and engaging. It’s an amazing experience. I’ve played it many times and enjoy it every time!
