I bought this telescope for my son's 6 Birthday. He loves it!. It has two interchangeable lenses that will let you use the telescope for land and celestial exploring. This telescope will enable your family to enjoy watching the stars and the moon with minimal set up time but with the power of more expensive telescopes.

Easy setup and very clear picture. Was extremely surprised to see great definition especially of Moon's craters. Very happy with purchase!

I had been looking for a starter telescope for wife and kids. This fit the bill perfectly! It is a great scope - good lenses, good size, has a sporting scope, easy to set up and use. My wife, who is not terrible mechanically inclined, had it set up and ready to go in no time. This is a wonderful scope for beginners, and was on sale for about $70! However,it also seems like it will be good for years to come as well!

We've already used it to see great pictures of the moon. Good price for a beginner's telescope.

I did not expect such great level of definition. This is a great looking, sleek telescope, the direction can be adjusted easily. It's a bit heavy to carry around but I suppose that's just a personal preference. It was a birthday present for my husband and he loved it!

Good for a beginner, although I wish the manual was more detailed or the included CD had a video (with tips how to use it instead of just a PDF manual)

My son loves this. I bought it for him to look at the moon and he can really see it. It’s really functional for a 5 year old to use with some help. We definitely will keep up and keep using.

I found this telescope online and read the reviews so I ordered it if a Christmas gift to be shipped to my cousin in central Texas. It was quickly received and in perfect condition. Just in time for the hot new comets visible New Years week. Now I want to order one for myself!

700mm telescope that is perfect to teach my grandchildren the stars. With the special pricing that Best Buy had, it beat the competitors by many dollars and equal quality. I could not be happier with the product, and withe qick shipping I received. This was the first time I used Best Buy on-line purchasing, but it wont be the last.

I bought this as a gift but had to return it because it had a broken AZ mount, I also bought one for myself and its AZ mount was stiff and hard to adjust scope, but not broken, and Starfinder is useless. I would get the higher cost EQ mount and standard finder scope if I were to redo my purchases. The scope itself is great.

When I first used this scope, it made me feel like a professional. I was in awe. I would like to find accessories in the stores instead of online so I can enhance my experience. I cant wait to upgrade, so I can record what I see. Thank you Celestron and Best Buy for enabling me to achieve a dream.

Nice telescope for the amateur astronomer. Good instructions have you gazing at the stars in no-time. Have gotten some beautiful views of the moon, and have even spotted the rings around Saturn. I highly recommend purchasing some filters to enhance the viewing experience.

This telescope is a perfect starter that isn't too expensive, does a good job and my 7 year old daughter loves it!

i bought the telescope as a beginner for my grown son who needed something to use as a recreational outlet. he tells me he is finding very easy to use and is learning more about astronomy in general. i was glad best buy offered this product choice and the ease it was to order and pick-up at there location (so as not to be delivered to the house during working hours) .
