Was surprised at what this telescope is capable of seeing.I know there are way better more advanced telescopes .But this is an excellent beginner scope.I did buy better lenses for it . It is ‘80mm aperture 900 focal length. I had really nice moon views .Saw rings separate on Saturn.Saw cloud bands on Jupiter with its moons .I did buy motor which was extra It mounted to scope to track planet movement. Battery operated.A little noise while on but not loud very nice to help stay locked on target.I have bought bigger better scopes afterward but can’t part with it .

    entry level telescope

Instructions to put together telescope were simple, straightforward and easy to understand. usage of telescope takes some practice but is reasonable. user manual explains alot of the pieces and adjustments. power and focus of the telescope are reasonable for an entry level and price point. one complaint is the view finder on top of the telescope; you the 3 knobs used to adjust are not sufficient to line up the viewfinder with an object in the distance. thus the viewfinder and the telescope done line up on the same object.

Telescope worked well. Great view of the moon. I exchanged it only because it's fully manual and could not use the Starsens app, but if you're into doing the research and finding the planets and then locating them, I think it's great for that.

This is a great product and putting it together was fairly easy. However, the difficulty came in trying to figure out how to use it properly. All in all, a better manual on installation and use is needed. Even if the manual was not printed, being able to access more information on the manufacturer's website would be helpful. However, if your a novice at telescopes your best bet in learning how to use it is to find someone who has one and can help you.

With a little adjustment of the mount and tripod bolts, the the mount became tight. Every thing I needed came with the telescope to start me on my way. The manual was easy to read and star software was quick to down load and easy to use. The images were vary clear and sharp. Vary good quality.
